No different from all the others. As with all Starbucks, there are always people camped out long-term using internet and reading, while enjoying the air conditioning and sipping expensive coffee.

Great service and pretty good English. Only issue is that you must have passport number to access wifi which most people don't carry about with them. Tip-take picture on phone.

Really this one is like any other. The one at Thapae Gate is slightly bigger and better. The prices, when compared to Kalare Market and other places on the street seem a bit higher, but on a par with Chinese locations. I could get a meal in the Bazaar for less than a brewed coffee

There are so many coffee shops in Chiang Mai, maybe as many as in Seattle, so I think I don't want to go to Starbucks. But I do. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and the lattes are big and good. They air con is refreshing and there's plenty of room to hang out and write my stories.

They have their standards always bang on and if you like this kind of coffee it always produces the goods. But i think they are just bland coffee with fancy packaging and gimmics. It has usa written all over this over-priced crap coffee. Sucks in people who are following brands or if you like American style cafe. Bad for small... More

One thing about chains is consistency. This Starbucks fits the mold of the rest, but that isn't necessarily a negative thing. If you like Starbucks, then you will feel at home. Great place to meet people and visit folks from around the world. Prices are comparable to other Starbucks, but much higher than other coffee places in town. The staff... More

OK, Starbucks is Starbucks but i have to say whilst staying at a local hotel I went there 4-5 times and on each occasion all the staff were absolutely amazing in their friendly welcomes, farewells and cleanliness of their store! Its also a cool A/C oasis on a hot day with fast, free wi-fi.

I only went into Starbucks because they sell a soya milk version which is very hard to find in Chiang Mai unfortunately. The staff were not interested in being polite with me, they were just entertaining themselves. Plus I had to pay another 15 Thb on the already expensive price of coffee. I won't give Starbucks any more of my... More

We have a long history at this Starbucks. We make a point of staying at a hotel right in this area so we can stroll the Night Bazaar each night, go to our favorite German restaurant located across the street and a stop at Duke's for their burgers and pizza. - This Starbucks got remodeled a year back and it... Perfect location and good coffee, as always. Good service. I wish they had more sandwiches, and not only sweet and fat food.
