We stopped here as it was unbelievably well-priced for the area. We had the pepper & garlic chicken which was great - with rice it was 80 baht. The pineapple fried rice with chicken was good too but there wasn’t much pineapple in the dish but 110% the amount you’re spending. Will definitely go back.

This place lives up to it's reviews and my wife and I ended up eating here three times during our 5 day visit in Chiang Mai. The service (handled by an older auntie) was phenomenal and our food was quickly prepared. We enjoyed the cashew nut chicken, Khao Soi, Pad Thai, and various other dishes and we found them to be flavorful, fresh, and authentic to the Thailand taste we had experienced. Make sure to visit this restaurant during your time in Chiang Mai!

If you are a believer that you have to pay a lot to get a good food in Chiang Mai, this restaurant will prove you wrong. We had a family dinner couple of days ago as we wanted to have a good local Thai food. We were extremely surprised by the food quality and taste. It was superb, freshly made and spices were elegantly blended. The place is cramped if it is a peak time but the place wait staff is efficient and things move quickly. If you are looking for a good food and don’t care about fancy ambience, this is the place to try it out. You won’t be disappointed!

This clean and cozy eatery was conveniently located opposite the entrance of Wat Phra Singh. The food was not only tasty but also cheap. We loved the chef recommended dishes - chicken panang curry with rice for 70 baht, chicken spicy glass noodle salad for 75 baht, and mango sticky rice for 60 baht. Moreover, the food had adorable aesthetics as the rice was shaped like a teddy bear. The menu had vegetarian options as well.

Came here for lunch at the suggestion of our hotel. We were very pleased! The restaurant is very cute and clean and the staff was very pleasant (spoke great English). The food was very good and came quickly. For 2 meals and a smoothie we paid 190 Baht ($6USD).

Went here for lunch and got the Panang Curry. Great taste (not at all spicy even though she told me it would be medium spicy, but still great flavour) and very fast service. Reasonably priced for a tasty meal. Would come again!

Amazing food in this tiny restaurant. Made to feel welcome and the food is very cheap. We were a family of five. We had 2 starters to share and 5 mains and 4 large beers, 2 waters and a coke for around £21

I stayed in Chiang Mai for 2 months. I lived in a hotel, which means I had to eat out most nights. My hotel recommend It's Good Kitchen and they did not dissapoint. They become my local restaurant. I ate there almost everyday and tired everything on the menu. The food and flavours were really good and clean. Aroy mak mak. And ever meal is beautifully presented with your rice in the shape of a bear. I loved every meal plus it's really well priced. The owner is very sweet and kind and often gave me free exotic fruits to take home with me. This place was my saving grace in Chiang Mai with not having a kitchen. Every dish I tried wad excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is great and the food delicious with low prices. We ate stir fry with chicken and cashews nuts and it was the best stir fry till now. Highly recommend. We wanted to come back but it's closed on Thursday and on Friday we leave Chiang Mai.

I stopped off here as it was highly recommended in several guides. It was fine for a quick lunch, and the service was fast and friendly. However, the food is obviously geared towards Western tourists who don't want their dishes to be too spicy, as I found the dish I ordered to be a bit bland for my taste (although I've lived in Asia for over 25 years, so my taste buds may be slightly heat-adjusted these days!) But the quality fo the staff and service (and the speed of my meal) make it still worth recommending. Maybe ask for your food to be spicier if that's what you like.

I found this place by accident after seeing many people queuing to get in and thought we would give it a try as it was getting late and many restaurants were closed or closing. After a short wait, we were given a table and menu, ordered, and the food arriver fairly quickly. Portions were good and spicyness hadn't been compromised for Western tastes. Despite the poor exchange rate we Brits get for the THB, the price was really reasonable. Sure, you aren't getting laced tablecloths, hallmarked silver cutlery of Royal Doulton plates, but what you do get is excellent good value food in a clean ebvironment. What's not to like?

I am really sorry, but I feel like I have to write about my not so good experience. I was only passing by, as I was planning to eat at one of the street stalls that night, as usually. But the place looked busy and nice enough to catch my attention. I have ordered a mango smoothie (as my original choice dragon fruit was unavailable) and Pad Thai. I absolutely love Pad Thai and had it plenty of times before in Thailand, as well as in the UK. This was the worst Pad Thai I have ever tasted. First impression was good as the portion was generous, served on a plate decorated with bamboo leaf. But the actual meal.. didn’t have much of the flavour at all. The vegetables were a frozen mix (!) of peas, sweetcorn and carrots. With a small addition of more carrots (cut in different shape) and broccoli. There was a stalk of uncooked spring onion and some uncooked bean sprouts on the side. Very disappointing. I ate most of it as I paid for it and I didn’t want to be wasteful. I wasn’t going to write this review until my stomach started to ache on my way to my accommodation. The place is clearly overrated and doesn’t serve authentic recipes (at least not Pad Thai). Find a much nicer food options by the river, much cheaper, so much choice and the food is absolutely amazing.

We walked by this place a few times before we went in and it was always really busy which is a good sign! Service was good, nice and quick. Food was great! I had green curry fried rice with chicken and it was gorgeous. The whole lunch for two of us with beer and another drink was around £7! So cheap. If you're in Chiang Mai definitely get something to eat here, you won't be disappointed.

This was our very first meal in Thailand and we were thrilled with it. The spicy lemongrass prawn salad had the perfect amount of flavour and spice. The pad Thai and khao soi were delicious too. Varied menu and super affordable- check it out !

Overall Rating: ⭐️8/10 Food & drinks quality: ⭐️ 8/10 Service: ⭐️ 8/10 Promo: - What to expect: Local Thai foods, authentic recipes. Not a big restaurant but a good one to stop by and taste authentic Thai food. Comments: A gem we found in Chiang Mai. This restaurant is quite touristy, because we found a lining up for the table when we come. We have a looked a their menu on our waiting time, and it served a fair price for a local Thai food. You can find lot of options to try on. We order chicken cashew nuts, tom yum soup, and refreshing drinks. All taste nice and can be shared for 3 person. It was a family business so staff and team were so welcoming. even thou that it was so crowded, they still take take time to greet you and throw a jokes that made you laugh. Thanks!
