We were stuck in Chiang Mai during COVID-19 and we had our fare share of lunches and dinners at Cooking Love. We loved the food so much that we asked if we could do a cooking class. For a very reasonable price, my husband and...I were given a tour through the cooking love menu. We had left overs for weeks. Cooking Love has more than just good food (the mango curry is to die for!). The staff is incredibly welcoming and really tries to get know their guests. Every time we walked in, it felt like we were regulars at a local diner. I am so thankful for this place, for the good food, and all the great memories. We will be trying to replicate their mango curry for years and years to come.More

This is no small operation. This restaurant has a couple of locations on a side street, one on either side of the road a few meters apart. It was a pleasant first meal in Chiang Mai and the staff were friendly. We were walk-ins and...were immediately seated for lunch. I would not say it is the best food I had in Thailand but every place is different and the food I had did taste nice and authentic.More

Quiet restaurant with welcoming host. The lane runs off the main market street, just continue walking. Large Thai and Western menu selection. Good value.

2 different people had already recommended Cooking Love before I even visited, and I can see why! We visited 3 times in our 4 day stay, which is particularly unlike me as I like to try lots of different places, but it’s so good! I...particularly enjoyed Hung Lei (northern pork curry with garlic) and Khao Soi with beef, so much so that I bought the paste to make myself back in Bangkok! The restaurant is super cute, super cheap (khao soi was the equivalent of £2.20!) and the staff are lovely! Chiang Mai is very quiet at the moment, and many places are closed, so visit Cooking Love which is very much open and wonderful!More

We are repeat customers of Lynn at Cooking Love. We were introduced by friends and repeat customers to the delicious cooking at Cooking Love several years ago, Since then, we have introduced many more acquaintances to our favourite restaurant in Chiang Mai. We have tried...all of her locations and cannot speak highly enough about the taste and quality of the food we “experienced”. It was not just eating....she provided us with a Thai experience. We are hoping to get back to Chiang Mai to see Lynn once again, as her food always made our trip from Canada to Thailand special every year, for the many times that we have returned to Chiang Mai. We are hoping to return soon, and we cannot stress enough how enjoyable our meals were at Cooking Love, We cannot wait to enjoy one of those amazing meals once again!More

Excellent food, very friendly waiters and a very good service! At the end of our meal we got an additional snack and tee for free, what we never got in a restaurant in chiang mai.

No idea as I used cash, however if you plan to stay several days in Thailand it's hugely advised to have a cash with you as most places don't accept CCs.
