The food was incredible, especially the chilli sauce that is on the table. Loved the place and will be returning before we leave Hanoi. You know it's good when it's packed full of locals. 60k for a bowl of bun bo nam bo.

Had the Bun Bo Nam Bo and it was a great breakfast. The broth was rich, the ingredients gave a nutty taste, the noodles were springy. All in all a wholesome breakfast. The chicken soup was surprisingly delicious as well. Doygh fritter was interesting.

Read the reviews and decided to try for lunch. We were amazed at the great taste of this simple dish. Dont give it a miss if you visit the Old Quarter!

Today we went to the bun bo nam bo because of the fantastic recommendations ok TripAdvisor. They have 3 choices of food and 1kind of dessert (dumpling cake). The beef noodles were good, but not the best thing we ever ate. The chicken was also ok. The desert unfortunately tastes boring. There was only one nice staff guy. So all... More

If you want to try the famous bun bo, you could do much worse than here. Extremely cheap, delicious bun bo, and ice cold beer.

We were recommended this place by a friend who lives in Hanoi and I can't speak highly enough of the place. There are copious amounts of similar looking establishments around, but when this place is rarely empty and full of locals as well as travellers, it does put your mind at ease. Food is served really quickly (95% orders are... More

Great place to try "street food", cheaper prices and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Was ideal for my partner and I after walking all day. Staff aren't that friendly though.

I had read the reviews all on this place and thought to give it try. With all the reviews highly rating this, I must say they are right. It is pretty much a one dish restaurant, but as mentioned it is done so well, I had to go twice. Value for money also. I had tried the local noodle soup... More

Yummy food. Service a bit slow but they were very busy! Nice menu. Good for tourists and locals! Highly recommended!

Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
