If you can eat pork, this dish is very nice, you can feel the authentic taste of Vietnam, the restaurant is small but nice

We were just wandering on the fringe of the old quarter and came across Bun Bo Nam Bo at 67 Hang Dieu, Hoam Kiem, starving so went in. A good crowd of Vietnamese looked promising, but we were ushered upstairs, and to an entirely different...More

This busy street food restaurant offers a choice of 2 dishes, although everyone seems to choose the beef noodles which comes with salad, stir-fry vegetables and peanuts. The food was tasty and authentic. Arrived very quickly and only ~60k VND (~£2). Would definitely recommend this...More

The salad was super good. I would recommend it. There are not too many choices though, only the salad and chicken soup and then a couple of starters. There is beer.

Tried this dish after seeing the raving reviews on tripadvisor, and it's definitely worth the hype! The savory soup and sweet chilli sauce had so much flavour and really complemented everything!

I quite like the beef noodles salad, very tasty. No wonder so crowded even the weekdays. They will serve you the salads as soon as they can. Conclusion: ichiban !

Our first meal in Hanoi and one of our best. Small menu, but what's on it is good. Really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it.

No need to book. Just take a sit if it's free. It's not a formal restaurant.

Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
