We visited 3 places for egg coffee. To be brutally honest, this was the worst of 3.
The coffee was prepared in advance so was not freshly made to order.
The hot water that is supposed to keep the coffee warm was only...More
Ordered the egg coffee with Rum and I like the egg coffee with a bit of alcohol to boost the taste. As the coffee here put a lot of condensed milk and too sugary, the Rum just balanced the whole taste of it!
What a treat I had read about this place when researching my trip so I was determined to check it out. Took me a few times up and down the busy block to spot it as the store front is teeny tiny. It’s crowded and...More
This place pretty crowded in the afternoon on weekend. The cafe hidden behind the main shop with a connection link pathway to the back to the cafe. Nothing impressive for the Egg Coffee as most people talking about in town. The eggy coffee actually doesn't...More

I personally think egg coffee is semi-cooked egg since hot dripped coffee was mixed into the egg foam. We had tried two different version of egg coffee & one egg custard dessert on the street. None of our members of the group had any negative effects. The most important aspect on foreign food was if you never exposed to any of the new ingredients before than it's not to take any chance while traveling. I always have raw egg in my salad dressing & various cooking so I know my system can handle it. Enjoy it's gave you a very smooth light taste of drinking Vietnamese coffee. ( they only do it in Hanoi)
