I have just eaten at this place. It is averagely much more expensive of what you should pay in Hanoi (even management know this as to the menu price you need to add 10% extra for taxes), however here I should consider a very nice view opportunity. (4th floor in front of the famous lake with the temple). I ordered... More

They grab you at the front & take you upstairs... I know it's their job but.....Tiny balcony great view. Fresh glass with 2 nod drink would have been nice. Turned off by prices of food - especially with not including 10% tax on bottom of page.

What a lovely restaurant, with a view of Hoan Kiem Lake that is both lovely and inspiring. The waitstaff are VERY attentive and, the first time, I only ordered the Tekka Maki, cucumber sushi, for 35.000 VND ($1.75 US). They treated me as though I ordered a huge amount of food and this has been consistent with both ordering this... More

This restaurant is nicely located overlooking Hoan Kiem lake, in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The interior is neat and well presented. We found the food to be extremely tasty and visually appealing at reasonable prices (expect tourist prices though). What made this place stand out for us though, was the exceptional service. The waitstaff were attentive, offering service with... More

The resturant is located in tourist area of Hanoi. The service was terrible and waitress plus management spoke no english or Japanese (which I speak fluently). This should have been the warning to get up and run. I decided to stay and see if the food was any better. My sushi was old (no choice but to leave) the noodle... More

I love Japanese food but was at first nervous because we were the only diners. We sat on a tiny balcony with a lovely view of Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff were very attentive and offered to let us move seats if it became too sunny. The waiter showed us a menu with about 6 different lunch sets and we... More

Came to Sen Raku on a very wet day in the off season and enjoyed the view of Hoan Kiem lake and very attentive service from Japanese staff. The food was good, very authentic. We ate edamame, izakaya chicken thighs and liver, yakitori, rice and green tea. (We were wary of eating raw fish or salad in Vietnam). Perhaps it... More

A great situation, only a few minutens walk to the famous Hoan Kiem Lake. It is located in the Centre of Hanoi and high floor of the buiding. We are mostly very obsessive of Japanese food, especially the new generation. You would be NEVER be disappointed to go and eat in this restaurant. The food which they provide was really... More

We went here because of the promising reviews here on Tripadvisor. None of the waiters could speak English, we asked how much food we would get, but they did not understand. You cannot tell from the images in the menu book how big the pieces really are. We ordered a big sashimi plate, which turned out to be a very... More

The view was spectacular but this is were it stopped. There was only 4 other people in the restaurant so we should have taken the warning then cause as we went up to the restaurant all the others were full. I ordered sushi which I could have bought the same at the local shopping centre then asked for 2 other... More
