Had to come to this cafe not just because of the great location but i was my Mum's name too!
Beers were 30K VND each which considering the location and the lovely setting out on the balcony was pretty good
I did not receive what was advised at the door and was still made to pay for it.
The view is beautiful if you're willing to compromise on service.
I cannot comment on the quality of the food as I did not stay long enough.
Not worth getting out of your way to specifically go there, but if you're in the area already and need a break, that's an option. From the street/ground, you can see whether there's space outside, on the second-floor small balcony, then it's worth at least...having a coffee, juice or water. Nice view of St. Joseph's Cathedral (catholic church) and of the hustle-bustle of the area.More
We visited Marilyns Cafe for dinner and sat on the terrace which was a full of atmosphere with the fairy lights and view of the chapel. We were able to look down on the bustling streets of Hanoi. However, the food was average and the...service matched. The spring rolls and stir fried beef with Vietnamese sauce were the only better than average food we received. The menu while it has a few Vietnamese dishes, the menu was full of westerner food, pizza, burgers etc, not living up to the traditional Vietnamese at the door.More
A lovely cafe in the old quarter, you can see its outdoor balcony seating from the square in front of St Joseph cathedral. Perfect location
Lovely coffee and delicious cake.
Full menu available but we only stop for a quick snack.
Work a visit :)...Thank youMore
Rather dissatisfied with the service. Two young guys took the order but never returned except with the bill!
Food was soso but the view sells it all.
Noticed hanging lamp was dirty and informed the manager -- she had a good laugh !
You do...overlook the adjacent restaurant // had smokers next to us from there!More
