Our friend who went to Ho Chi Minh City recommended this restaurant to us.We did not regret having to find and dine in this not so expensive restaurant. We enjoyed the food and the service. We are surely to come back in this place when we go back to Ho Chi Minh City.

I like the soup and the fried vermicelli. After reading the negative reviews, I realised it could be a wrong expectation of soft shell crab which is unlike the Sri Lankan crab we get in Singapor which is Succulent and juicy and very pricy. Soft shell is small. We ordered the deep fried soft shell crab which is good but... More

Came here with very high expectations as it was recommended by a friend who visited a few months ago, was just disappointed with the food. We ordered the fried crab vermicelli, it was tasteless; also ordered their soft shell crab which was a bit too oily and the crab spring roll was just too peppery.. Nothing fantastic, think it just... We ate the the restaurant nearest to the traffic lights as there was 2 restaurants of the same name. We love the fried rice with crab meat, not oily but plenty of crab flesh. We had the deep fried crabs which was good as it was not greasy at all. The tamarind crab claws was so so good and also... More

This is a review of the original shop af 84. Walking in I noticed a big wok of oil used for deep frying. It was dark in colour so i mentally told myself not to order deep fried dishes. Majority of customers were foreigners. So we ordered herbal chicken soup, crab claws in tamarind sauce, vermicelli with crab meat and... More

We've read so many good things (& BAD THINGS) about this place, I really couldn't expect what out of this place. I mean, it's a hole in the wall kinda place in HCM so maybe the reviews could be one extreme or the other. Also taste is such subjective matter that I usually don't pay much attention unless all the... More

I was recommended to go here by a friend. Found the place extremely overrated. Ok crab, but Also pricey for Vietnam. Would probably not go again.

There are two 94's, two buildings apart. I have read Thuy 94 on the right side is the original, have moved there from 94 Dinh Tien Hoang St. We went to Quan 94 on the left nearest the corner, this being at No 94 Dinh Tien Hoang St. Which is better?. I expect they're both the same!. If you like... More
