Entry is via a motorbike garage and there is the option of stairs or lift. We visited Madam Queyen on floor 5 for wonderful iced coconut coffee. It's very stylishly decorated inside and also sells a few gifts (bags, earrings, packets of coffee). However, it...doesn’t look over the front of the building/street. So we ventured further up to floor 8 to Good Day cafe and got a table on the balcony with fab views over the street. We had a delicious lychee iced tea and a passion fruit granita soda, both very refreshing and with a lovely breeze while enjoying them.More

Make your way up the stairs or you can use the lift (for a small fee). I would either pick a cafe from the outside by looking up before you enter or just take a chance. I chose to go to the top floor and...visited Good Day café. You can sit on the balcony with a great view of the boulevard below while enjoying a coffee or smoothie or juice! There are also restaurants in the block of apartments eg Poke Saigon which sells poke bowls and also Madan Quyen which sells Vietnamese cruise. Great spot for a sunny day!More

If you are a visitor to HCMC and been to district 1, you will probably not miss this iconic landmark in the city center. This is the cafe apartment, a multi-storey building that houses a good number of cafes and you will be spoiled for...choices which to patronize. You can leisurely walk up the building or take the elevator for a fee. Would say each cafe is unique and special with it's own menu and some do have a cosy and nice ambience where you grab your drinks over some finger food and enjoy the bustling and noisy street view. We enjoyed the night visit and will come by in every of our HCMC trip, so far 7th or 8th time already!More

Looks nice at night. However, when walking past in the day, I honestly don't think I would have noticed it had I not read up about the Apartments prior to coming to Saigon. Yes, it is a cool building which houses mainly eateries and coffee...shops. I walked up a few times as I refused to pay the fee to use the lift! Your likely to be in the area as it is located on the main Walking Street. Pop in. Grab a coffee or a bite to eat and enjoy the views. I had lunch at the Indian restaurant once and Poke Saigon on another day. The building to me lacked atmosphere. Soulless. It was never very busy. Most people appeared to walk up and down, take photographs and go! Worth a stop but expected a lot more.More

Really cool building, you enter through a garage and pay a small fee to take the elevator, then you can explore all the floors. You can have a coffee on the balcony of the cafe and get some good views of the bustling street below.

The building is quite an icon on the walking street and great at night lit up. It is a must do whilst you are there, but best to go there when the sun is not in your eyes. You get a great view over the...walking street and there are many cafe's to go to as well as many little quirky shops. Try and get a seat out on the balcony.More

This once apartment block is now a bright, colourful spot with lots of different aromas from all the coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. The entrance is unassuming and a bit dingy but once inside there are many little businesses. We bought from The E.Y.E a...shop that sells tote bags, the guys running it were very friendly.More

Didn’t have time to really explore every cafe/restaurant in this building so decided to grab a cup of coffee on the top floor. It was average, but a good experience.

This place is easy to find. Good for photo in day or night. The unique building facade will make you even want to try one of the tenants. Using the old elevator to reach upstairs was also such a new experience. Enjoy!

A very old building / apartment with many cafes, some boutique & offices. There are various types of setup/design in different cafe. We took the lift up to the highest floor which is the 9th floor & walk down floor by floor to visit most...of the cafe there. 1) Lift: pay a minimum fees to use the lift 2) Photo: can take photos inside & corridor. Most of the shop/ cafe allows the visitors to take photo even you don’t drink / eat there. 3) Special condition: certain cafe is only allow their customer to sit in their shop with the condition that everyone must buy at least a cup of drink. ( eg. If you are 4 persons & thinking to buy 2 cups of their drinks to share amongst then they will only allow 2 persons to sit in their shop. So, ask before your purchase if you intend to do so.) 4) Tea break: you can choose 1 of your most preferred cafe, have your tea break there. We opted to have our tea & cakes in the ‘Partea’ cafe at the 4th floor. i) a very “English” & cozy ambience with nice music (guitar). ii) after your order, you can choose your favorite tea set. Overall, it is worth to explore the Cafe Apartment.More

Funny thing was the management will charged VND 3K for using the elevator per person; if you do not wish to pay, please be ready to walk up the staircase; or burning a few more calories would reward yourself from getting more cheese cakes? Lol...:DMore
