We dined here on the recommendation of our guide as an authentic place to eat Vietnamese food. The service is good with friendly staff and the menu offers a good selection of different dishes at reasonable prices, with service spread across 3 floors. We had spring rolls followed by the soft shell crab, which was something we'd never tried before and... We went here for dinner following a performance at the Opera House. It is conveniently located a couple of blocks behind the Opera. To find it, be sure to walk under the arch at 74 Hai BA Trung. The restaurant is quite large and bustling. Service was prompt and very helpful as we waded through the menu items. Each person... More

If you are looking for a bit of upmarket but not too expensive vietnamese food try here. Yes it is a bit more expensive than other local restaurants but you will not be disappointed. Get a table downstairs rather than upstairs for a better experience. You can book to make sure. Wine is good as well.

This restaurant serves good local Vietnamese food, and is known for its multi-course meals. It was very good, though noisy.

We ate twice at this restaurant, once for lunch and once for dinner. Lovely range of Vietnamese salads and seafood dishes, including a great soft shelled crab dish. Also did the cookery course here, including the market tour, which was a great experience with our guide and cookery instructor, Ngoc.

I like cooking courses when the teacher is engaging and not just yelling instruction. Gnoc, think that's how she spelt it, was excellent from start to finish, she didn't just explain what to do but why as why, explaining the cultural reasons as well. Her team were also engaging and enthusiastic. Thank you for a great experience!

Conveniently located across the street from the metro Portland Sofitel in Saigon. There are a number of restaurants in that sane courtyard. Food was OK, ambience is nicer with outdoor tables and service was quite slow on Valentine's Day.

We tried the Hoa Tuc because of the tripadvisor reviews. And the starters were in fact very delicious, but the main dishes weren't high quality. The fish was cold and without any special taste at all. Staff was kind but stressed, because it was very full for many hours that we've been there.

This place was one of many recommendations we received and we are so glad we went. We had the beef and green mango salad, soft crab and then the amazing hot pot shared between four of us. The waiting staff were very helpful in telling us how much to order and explaining how to use the pot correctly - adding... More
