More than 2 hours waiting for the main course while not much customers! Bad services and bad communication of the staffs.

Food is classic French. Its as if one goes back in time to the 1970s. I love it. The food is honest and well prepared.

Trois Gourmands is a famous French restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. The restaurant is a big villa with a swimming pool. Its green walls make it very distinctive in the residential zone. There are outdoor tables and a big grill in the garden area....The interior is beautifully decorated with fresh orchids, fancy curtains and colourful paintings. Ambience is great! The main dining room and private rooms are spacious, bright and well furnished with carpets, air conditioning, and comfortable chairs. Servers and chefs are all very friendly and accommodating. They even accept new US dollar bills. Depending on your choice of entrées, set lunch can cost around VND 1,046,000 (or USD 45) to VND 2,379,000 (or USD 103), which is quite expensive in Vietnamese standards. Highly recommend the flavorful “Nem de Foie Gras” (Goose Liver Spring Roll), the refreshing “Tartare de crab” (Crab Tartare), and “Profiteroles au Chocolat” (Chocolate "Profiteroles" with Vanilla ice cream). One thing that needs improvement though is the slow serving speed; taking more than 3 hours to enjoy a 5-course French lunch is a bit too long.More

This restaurant is in a house (mansion) with a yard and a pool, which apparently was a home before, and subsequently a restaurant (before it became the current Trois Gourmands restaurant). Seating may be indoors or al fresco. We arrived on an evening that was...partly showery but sat outside anyway, with no unpleasant effects as there was no rain when we had dinner (note nevertheless than Saigon/HCM City is a place where it does sometimes rain). The service is very good and the staff were knowledgable and friendly. The menu was not huge but offered acceptable choices. We were two of us and we ordered a sampling of food which we shared. It was good but not unforgettable. The pricing was fine dining pricing by Indochinese standards, but not exorbitant. This place may be recommended for a family or a group of friends out, because of the good service and the acceptably comfortable seating. It is nevertheless not in the heart of town and even the taxi driver had to look for the location. It is not an impossible address to find, partly because the restaurant is located in an area with a handful of other fine restaurants. Nevertheless bear in mind it is not in the usual heard-of-town type of high-grade location; it is a small distance out, in an acceptable neighbourhood.More

Don’t let the “gourmand” be confused with gourmet. Sorry, with all due respect ...average at best. From the bread all the way to the dessert. Very disappointed. Ok French food. Hope they get it together. Work on the homemade cheese...quality over quantity especially that late...into the meal.More

Lovely food and service. Although prices are higher than usual in Vietnam the food is on a par with very good restaurants worldwide

This restaurant takes you back to the 1980 I feel. Food is very good especially the meat cooked slowly in vacuum. They also have very nice home made cheeses. The wine list was very interesting with good options. Lately is reduced and less interesting.

As we used to come to 3G before Gilles passed away, we were concerned the quality might have gone down. However after a recent visit, rest assured, everything is still really outstanding (same or better). The food quality is 100% there; the cheese selection; the...wine selection (although the number of bottles has reduced a lot, look carefully, there are really some treasures in the cellar room). Although there are a lot more options in Saigon than a few years ago, this remains a must-visit place for people who love amazing food and wine. I also have to complement the service quality again; I would consider it some of the best service in Saigon (very professional without being "overdone"). Recommended!More

We visited the restaurant based on a personal recommendation from a friend who ate there often. I am not sure about the negative comments made by others. Like any restaurants/hotels/places of interest, one needs to manage one's expectation. For USD45+ per pax (cheapest set menu),...pls don't expect a Michelin-starred service and even fine dining!. Go with an open mind and life will be more pleasant. It was certainly value for money and I thought the service and food was commensurate with the price. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the food and finished the course. We left happy.More

l'm not sure whether they charge corkage. Better send e-mail to the restaurant for confirmation. Please also check Vietnam's custom if there is tax for imported wine.
