This restaurant has a huge menu of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai cuisines. The prices are reasonable although I found the portions a bit small. Food quality is a little better than most in the city and the service is good. Atmosphere is OK but not really suitable for a romantic dinner out but great if you are trying... More

This was one of those memorable occasions that you still talk about years later. One where not only the food is great, but the service, the atmosphere and the decor all comes together brilliantly. We were looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and this place offers that and other lovely Asian menus in one restaurant. The french colonial architecture is great... More

We visited this restaurant on our first day in Saigon. It was recommended to us by the hotel. The restaurant is in an old house with an open area - great atmosphere! There were many people here - tourists as well as locals. The options on the menu seem to be endless - vietnamese, thai, mongolian... We chose a vietnamese... More

If you are looking for a first taste of Asia, this is the best restaurant to start with. Fearuring a very extensive menu of pan-Asian food (Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Korean), you can take your pick of the best specialties across Asia in one sitting. And what is truly impressive is that the taste ihas remained truly authentic despite the place... More

The concept behind the Ngon Restaurant was to bring together many different street vendors under one roof. Extensive menu of classic Vietnamese dishes from all around the country. We had a very nice early Sunday lunch, - it was rainy day so we choose to have a big table on a second floor. No AC but big fans did the... More

This place can be quite packed at night as many tourists flock the place at night. Truth to be told, it's quite a commercialized restaurant here. However, even though the restaurant is fully occupied, staffs are able to handle and serve you well. The flavourings of the food to me is not to say mind-blowing but decent and suitable for... More

Great food, staff were doing the best they could as it was extremely busy but every single item we ordered was delicious. Be careful of wait times if you go in the evening.

We were initially greeted at a chaotic time of arrival (8pm). The initial option of upstairs with plastic seats did not appeal and we were given a table adjacent to the pond in the middle of the restaurant. The waiter was helpful and pleasant and was clear on the order. Our grilled prawns with chilli/garlic, beef and egg noodles with... More

Like many others, I also cannot understand the high reviews of this place. The food was very tasty but that is where it ends. We ate there tonight and were a few metres away from construction and so ate with constant loud banging throughout our meal. My husband and I could not even have a conversation. We asked the waiter... More
