As part of a tour of Hue with Dylan of Hue Booking Tour (organised by Halong Tours Booking (see separate review) we stopped for lunch in a great restaurant called Banana Mango. From the outside, the place does not look overly appealing and inside the furniture is quite basic but then the food arrives and the food must be tasted... More

We went here on the recommendation of our tour guide and we were not disappointed. Two appetizers(rice pancakes with shrimp), two chicken pho, one beer and a mixed drink came in at approximately $10 USD. The food was good and I would happily return. If you are considering this restaurant: when we visited, the road immediately to the west was... More

Small restaurant, which looks nothing from the outside. Go inside and find a family run gem, with very friendly staff and great food. You can get western food, but it would be a waste as the home Vietnamese cooking is so good. Prices are ludicrously low so there is no excuse not to go to town. We went twice and... More

Looks nothing special. No other western tourists here. Great food and so inexpensive. Try the roll yourself pork starter. And the chicken chilli and ginger was also fantastic. 3 mins walk from the main bar and restaurant streets. Worth every stride...

We booked a tour to Hue from Hoi An with Mr. Tom. The tour guide on that day - Mr. Binh suggested us this restaurant. We had lunch with Vietnamese Set Menu and Hue's specialties. Really good! We enjoyed it!

We stopped here at 5:30 pm for an early dinner. Service was quick and the food was tasty with a bit too much MSG (which seems very common in the local restaurants throughout Vietnam). We ordered two Pho with sliced White Meat Chicken and a Grilled Pork that you wrap in rice paper and lettuce, cucumber. pineapple and carrot. Fellow... More

I really liked the coffee here - strong and sweet Vietnamese style. There is a big menu and if you're craving western food the sandwiches are a good option. The pho here is also good and they make great pancakes and omelettes.

We really enjoyed the food here - we had a noodle dish and it had great flavour and it was well portioned.
