Romdeng resturant in Phnom Penh is a fantastic place to go for a meal. It is not really traditional Cambodian fare. But the food is really good. This is a training resturant for young people in Phnom Penh and service was second to none. I...More

First time to this NGO restaurant. There are teachers and students that they teach. The food was good but size was rather small. I saw poeple eating spiders. Not for me. The amok was tasty but a bit sweet. But overall an enjoyable dinner outside...More

A little gem built into a French colonial bungalow, this place serves good food and excellent service. It took less than 10 minutes for them to whip up my meal and it was tasty, memorable and hot! I walked here from Central Market. Less than...More

A local friend recommended Romdeng. I was surprised to see tarantulas, crickets and ants on the menu. Don’t worry most dishes are without insects. From memory it was a mixture of dishes from Cambodia and its neighbours. The fire ants gave a peppery taste to...More

The food here was very good and reasonable priced. The food here is more traditional Khmer food than some of the restaurants in the city serve which is what had made the trip here worth it. There is something for everyone on the menu from...More

I was really looking forward to eating here as the reviews it has received in the past rated it pretty good. Being an adventurous eater, I ordered the stir fried beef with ants. I was kinda disappointed as it was not what I had imagined...More

It was a wonderful day, which I accompanied a group of Australian students to enjoy dinner at Romdeng Restaurant. They were really loved the foods, services, Enviroment. Especially, they tried deep fried tarantulas and insects.

Hello I was there last week, we got a table straight away (2 of us). It was busy though. In regards to the menu I am pretty sure they also had frog and ants along with tarantulas, so unless they’ve changed their menu I... More

Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
