This quaint restaurant was across the street from the Town View Hotel. Our group of 16 were welcomed and received fantastic service. This restaurant is part of the TREE Alliance which is a training restaurant for students. All of our starters, meals and drinks were delicious. We ordered a wide variety of food including the plate of Grilled Buffalo Jerky,... More

This restaurant was across our hotel, so it was recommended by them. First impression is great. It's in a beautiful villa, with great outside seating, lit up pool, very kind waiters. But, when food came it all changed. Ordered curry beef, and got some kind of goulash with hard to bite mature beef. The curry was watered like a soup.... More

On a group tour ashore from our Mekong Cruise boat, we ate lunch here. The food was local, varied and very interesting! No, I didn't try the crispy cricket, fried tarantula or red ants, but my lotus seed soup with vegetables and assorted mushrooms in the most delicious broth was a great choice. The staff were efficient and friendly and... More

We had reserved a table and arrive way early. That was not a problem at all! Their cocktails are very delicious. Three out of four foods were excellent one very good. Definitely worth to visit.

This social enterprise restaurant is superb. Set in a French colonial house the service is excellent and the food was really good. We went safe but you could have dishes including tarantula, ants or crickets. My green curry was delicious. Reasonably priced it's definitely worth finding it!

This is the first of a few of these training restaurants we visited in Cambodia and they are such a good idea. They always have such good reviews and are always full and rightly so as they live up to the hype each time. No you're not going to eat with the locals, these places are full of fellow tourists... Highly recommended. Beautiful setting and food is excellent. One of the best spots we found in Cambodia to find local cuisine prepared beautifully. We did not have reservations, but seems like that could be a good idea if you are going in peak hours. Part of the Friends NGO.

As per some other reviews, the work these guys do with underprivileged folk is fantastic and you can't take way from that, but it appears to be a feel good front for overpriced and well below par food. The Duck Breast is just a half dozen slivers hidden in the ant soup ( we were offered and accepted to have... More

Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
