This was a very nice oldish establishment that caters for all. The meals were nice and reasonable in quantity. Prices were good for western prices, probably a tad high for local prices. Well worth the visit. Great ambience and great views of the Mekong river...More

If you have any preconceived ideas about Indochina, The FCC will probably meet them. Vaulted ceilings,Mekong views, open terraces with ceiling fans all add up to an authentic experience... Local and international dishes and cocktails... A must visit place in PP...

FCC is great place to unwind, great place to relax while enjoying the view of Mekong River. From top on the building witnessing the busy traffic at Sisowath Boulevard. Couple of drinks to share with great company letting the days goes by.

The original FCC bar on the second and third level of the FCC building is probably little changed since the foreign correspondents were sending their reports from the bar which has a great view of the river. Cold beer and great pizza.

If you are in Phnom Penh, FCC is definitely worth a visit to experience the vibe of colonial Cambodia steeped in the history of the myriad of international travellers, journalists and photographers who shared stories and information along with a beer or two! It is...More

I was only in Phnom Penh for one day so thought the FCC Bar would be a great spot to take in the waterfront view. It is nice and airy and the view is great, but unfortunately the service was very frustrating! I was given...More

The FCC is a great place to relax and unwind, with a nice view of the river. The ambiance is just right. If you need a break from the heat and the traffic, check it out. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but worth it.

Went for a light dinner and had a club sandwich. It's different from most that I have had in the states but it was delicious. The bread was fresh and warm with mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomato and a fried egg. The vodka tonic accompanying the...More

'Expensive' is a subject point. They are not any more expensive than medium priced restaurants around town and are a little cheaper than the top end restaurants.

FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
