(based on the Faiza on Mederova just west of Sovietskaya) Wonderful Central Asian food with an Uzbek accent. A very large meal with tip is only $5-6 USD. Few expatriates; crowded -- very local flavor. I didn't hear any English and didn't see an English...More

Don‘T confused with the name cafe, restaurant in the Stans countries are called cafe. It provides the same kind of food you can find in every restaurants such as manty and lagman. Food is good and price is reasonable. But no special signature food.

Excellent local food at a great price. Can get really busy, especially on the weekend. Waitresses are able to speak enough English and there is a menu in English with pictures. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bishkek.

Great place to eat. Everything is great except it is too crowded during peak hours, and people stand in lines.

The cafe has incredible food for its price point, nice atmosphere and all, the only thing really to note is that it is a muslim restaurant and that there is therefore no alcohol. But other than that it is all good.

Basic food, quickly and efficiently executed. Inexpensive. Three of us dine for less than US $9. So what is there to complain or say. Would use it again if in Bishkek

The prices were good (100-150 som per dish), the food was wonderful, and the portions were good. I recommend anything with noodles in it (any of the laghmans, or the ashlamfu). They did not have pumpkin manty, despite it being on the menu. They only...More

Yes the food at Faiza if halal. Most of the food in Kyrgyzstan is halal. You can always ask your server and they can tell you if there is any changes. Welcome to Kyrgyzstan!
