Joma is ubiquitous in the big cities of Laos. I can't work out why. Crowded noisy cafes with uninterested staff, uninspired menus and overpriced food. Try any of the smaller French bakeries for better food, service and atmosphere.

This is a small chain of cafes that have stores in Luang Prabang and Vientiane. We stopped in at the ones in LP, but they were mostly cramped and crowded, and we couldn't see any place to sit down. Plus there were better places there to have coffee. Here in Vientiane, the choices are a bit more limited, so we... More

We went several times and enjoyed all the salads, cakes, sandwiches and soups. Staff were pleasant and prices reasonable. Great place for lunch or a bite.

Prices are okay, not cheap but decent. BUT the Mango Crumble is amazing! 22000 kip! Free Wifi, nice location and the Staff is average friendly

Went there just before they closed, so there was 50% discount on some pastries. We bought a chocolate croissant and almond croissant, and I have to say, as a French guy, that it's what I can find in France. So good, tasty, fresh... The normal prices are a bit high but the quality is there. Recommend it!

This is very much the place where the cool kids hang out. Pastries are good standard western fare with all the favorites represented. A bit of a scramble to find a place to sit inside or out! Good for people watching. Service a bit slow - probably a result of how busy it is.

A fine coffee/pastry/sandwich shop in the lovely old part of Vientiane. A perfect place for a quiet lunch, nice drink and people watch.

I spent two days in Vientiane and lunched here at both. Great sandwiches and nice atmosphere to chill.

Nice atmosphere, with good coffee, great service, and excellent free wifi. What more do you want? Great pastry maybe. Well, they also have that. With plenty of comfortable seats, this was the place to relax for us.
