I have been to Kungs Cafe a number of times. Usually it been for a breakfast of stick rice pancakes with mango, and a cup of Lao coffee with milk. Well worth coming back for! Parking during the work week is hard to find -...More

My friend brought me to Kung's on my first visit to Laos and I have to go back everytime I am here. Love the food, the fresh smoothies and drinks. Hard to find but totally worth it when you do. Excellent value for money.

It's quite far down an alley, but you'll immediately recognize it by all the homemade decorations. I tried the mango and sticky rice pancake (hooray for breakfast all day!), and it was really good. The juices we ordered as well!

The mango sticky rice pancakes and the coconut lao coffee shake is to die for! Their Lao coffee is also the best in town.

I had to check on whether it still exists knowing the trend for pulling down old houses and quarters to build new 'modern' high-rise hotels. Fortunately it is still there but I could order my favorite mango-banana pancake as I was too late.

Between wat and statue turn right, 3/4 down on right, alley you wouldn't walk down by yourself ( but safe ). Cutest cafe, gives 'drive thru' a new meaning. Good food and value, service can be slow when busy. Locals and tourists. A place you...More
