Giving a good rating because the ambiance was really nice, and our server Damien was really kind and humble and very informative with everything he served us, if you all go to the lobby bar try to get in touch with him, he will provide...a good service. Also the deco’s were outstanding, will be visiting again for the Christmas goodies for sure.More

I was here for a business trip for multiple weeks and I enjoyed the L.A.B bar fully. They have nice seats, good drinks, and great waiters. Especially one waiter, "Prabhath", made it a special time by his attentiveness, helpfulness, and kindness. I would recommend Prabhath...to any quality restaurants and hotels as a waiter.More

I was there with my wife couple of days ago after a hectic day and wanted to drink some cocktails to treat us. We were super exhausted after a long day and as soon as we entered the lounge, the Assist, Manager at L.A.B welcomed...us by greeting us in a way we have never greeted before. It was so welcoming and energetic, From that moment onwards he started making suggestions for drinks and also food. We only wanted to drink initially and ended up eating as he suggested few best dishes. As far as I remember, his name is Lahiru and he was so pleasant and helpful throughout our time there. Overall this place is super nice and fairly priced. We really enjoyed our time and hoping to visit L.A.B soon. Thank you everyone who served us and took care of us.More

I have been to many hotels and restaurants and I can genuinely say that this hotel has some of the worse staff ever. Hilton LAB is the worse place to take your wife or girlfriend. One occasion, one of the employees sexually touched a woman...and kissed her on the mouth. Yes. There was mouth involved. I couldn’t believe what happened so I kept quiet. This employee works at Sunsetblu. In my last visit to Hilton L.AB, I asked the waiter for 2 tequilas. This waiter said no. If I was drunk, I completely understand because the waiter is advised not to serve drinks when the customer is too drunk. The truth is I wasn’t drunk and waiter read my mind wrong and decided not to serve drinks. There refusal pushed my red button and things went a little far. Now I’m writing a bad review because they pushed my red button on several occasions. It is funny how they call themselves Sri Lanka’s leading hotel when you have millions of dollars in debt. You could have avoided a bad review completely, simply by getting back to me, when I called the hotel several times to make my complain. I don’t want to escalate this and take it too far for something so silly. If I take it too far, it will end up in court and result in me suing a waiter. These waiters probably earn around 200k to 250k every month and it will be a significant proportion of their salary. So, I’m hitting the brakes and avoiding a lot of time wasting and legal trouble. I can proudly say that my share of actions have done equal damage for the amount of damage and emotional stress they have caused me. So that is another reason to hit my brakes; I took a souvenir home that day and not planning to come ever again. All I wanted was 2 tequilas.More
