I understand the place is reviewed quite positively, however my experience at Cafe KAI was not worth the money or the time. I ordered a Coffee that was heavily watered down, had no flavor at all. The Pastry items were stale and extremely bland. There...was not much of a choice also because the cabinets were almost empty. It could have been a bad day operational wise and the staff looked exhausted.More

I have been ordering cakes from Cafe Kai for my clients for the last 2 years. The staff has always been very helpful and kind. Excellent service, orders were always delivered on time. My wife and I love the food here. The chocolate drinks and the mochas are exceptional. The variety and the quality of the food here is really good. We recommend the Chocolate Danish. Hilton Colombo is a place I patronize often and I have made orders through Cafe Kai now on two occasions from overseas. Although the website wasn't user friendly the first time the service offered my Mihiri was excellent she not only made sure to provide...a solution for my first order online payment processing challenge. Mihiri made sure she took care of the delivery of the order as promised. My most recent order was a good experience as your e-commerce team seem to gave fixed the problem thus the payment processing was swift. Again I contacted Mihiri to make sure the order was delivered ontime with no issues like the 1st order. Mihiri made sure everything was followed up and also sent me an email to confirm delivery. I will continue all my future orders (Colombo- Srilanka) through Cafe Kai without a doubt however my 10% off discount code wasn't accepted on the websit that I would like an adjustable made for my next order. I let it pass this time 😀More

I just wanted to buy a cake for my wife. After taking advice from friend and go through their menu wanted some ribbon cake with marzipan. Though it tells 48 hour prior notice is needed but it will available in afternoon. But I tried chocolate...with run. The service is very good. They reserve it for my call. Friendly service as well. Place is in an open place in the lobby area at Hilton Colombo. Limited on the savory items but wide range in cakes and sweet stuff. They have cakes ... lot of cakes. good choice of Tea /coffe and juices available .
