It was the first time we visited Emperor's Wok. From the first call to Hilton itself we were treated well. Unlike other hotels which transfer the call and it goes on several rings, here they efficiently took our reservation on the first or 2nd ring....This impressed me. When we entered the restaurant, I loved the calm fine- dining ambience. Since it was a family dinner, unlike other Chinese restaurants on Sundays, it was not noisy. The tea master kept serving us tea throughout which was a nice touch. We ordered appetisers, mains and even desserts but we didn't feel uncomfortable after eating dinner. This was a refreshing experience. Usually Chinese food is oily but this was fine. Moreover, the prices were very reasonable. The bill did not burn a hole in our pockets. Deshan served us and everyone was very polite and attentive and not over-attentive. It was quite wonderful. We are gonna keep coming. Keep up the good work!More

So happy we stayed and ate at the hotel last night instead of venturing out. We were so impressed with the service and the taste of the food here! Emperor’s Wok is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Colombo which is located in Hilton. The manager Asanka and the gentleman who served us Shellat was really cordial and hospitable. He recommended dishes as per our likings and he knew what he was doing. We ordered...Negroni and Green tea Martini, both were Gin based libations. That was the first time I had a drink with green tea and I thoroughly enjoyed every sip. And the Lychee martini was so good as well. For Starters we had dumplings; Shanghai pork dumplings, Chicken Siu Mai with scallop and Chicken Char Siu Bao BBQ bun which were a treat to our mouths. For mains we had the Hong Kong seafood noodle with decent amount of shrimps and cuttlefish and Shellat customized Chilli Chicken for us which was spicy and easy on the sauce. Then we opted for Yang Zhou fried rice with char sui chicken and shrimps and stir fried pork with dried chilli and cashew nuts. Loved the interior, friendly staff and the delicious food. Highly recommended for a date night, a family gathering or a catchup sesh with your co workers.More

We visited Emperors Wok, and we were blown away firstly by the service and secondly the food was absolutely terrific. We ordered an array of all type of dishes and were not disappointed at all, going as far as ordering seconds and even thirds. Last week we gave Emperor's Wok a private catering order and we couldn't have been more satisfied. The food was excellent, well prepared and nothing short of quality presentation. Our personal favourite dishes were the Gindara Rice and the Hot Butter Cuttlefish. We couldn't have...asked for a better service as the staff could not have been any more helpful or professional. It was very clear to us that their main priority was to make the customers happy and to provide the best assistance. Overall it was a great experience. We visited the place with kids in a very busy hour but several dishes were prepared and mainly dishes for the kids were served super fast Mr. Deshan was a great help throughout with a wonderful service I would say it’s the best place to...have delicious Chinese food We will be visiting here again for sureMore

I visited this restaurant around 7 times, this is the only restaurant with authentic Chinese in Colombo ! The shizuwan Chicken is the best and honey Glazed pork are the best dishes according to me. The manager Mr. Asanka is very helpful and suggests good...food dishes for my family. The whole team in this restaurant is really nice.More
