A man made island with a big pool and a restaurant (or is there two different ones?) Like the sun deck of a cruise ship that doesn't move... You get her by boat shuttle and the feeling is kinda cool. The restaurant itself was a meat haven with flames everywhere! Thought you had tried Kebab? This is the kind of... More

After a boat tour round the Bosphorus we stopped off here for a meal. There were 40 of us in a work party and probably filled just less than half if the restaurant. The location if course was great and the views were quite memorable even though it was raining and not very warm outside. The food had been pre... More

Amazing location, atmosphere, and food in the middle of the sea. One tip, make sure that you have the right address and name of the restraunt on you when riding a cab, because you might end up having your dinner in sketchy fish restaurant called Cibalik especially if you werent aware of the details of the restaurant being in the... Yes... this is a restaurant worth going... The food is very nice ,the location even better and I have to say that we got the best service than any other Istanbul restaurant we went to. Don't miss the shellfish and scalops as well as the buttered shrimps. Highly recommended to book a table even if this is a big restaurant.

This place is amazing. A complimentary boat taxi takes your from the shores of Ortakoy out to Suada Club which is a floating island or barge right in the middle of the Bosphorus Channel to Galatasaray Island. The restaurant has both outside and inside dining each having a beautiful view. The food is reasonable for the location. I would stick... More

Suada Clup is a seafood restaurant located on a small island in the middle of the Bosphorus. It is about 8 miles from the Spice Bazaar and located opposite the Ferrari, Aston Martin and Lamborgini dealers of Istanbul. You take a small ferry from the mainland to the island. It is about a 3 minute journey. Located on the island... More

Excellent location for the best scene of Istanbul. Located on the island and you eat next to sea with amazing view of Bosphorus bridge. Mezes(starters) are great. But the fish was big disapointment with the size of the portions. The bill was also not so pleasent.

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
Besiktas
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
