This falafel fast food restaurant, run by Palestinians has been popular for the past few years. It is located very close to the Taksim Square on the street of Simit Sarayi. They have nice menus with falafels, humus and tabbouleh and the service is fast. You can sit outside on the street and watch the passers by. The restaurant has... More

We absolutely LOVE this place! Incredible service with some staff that also speak English (bonus for us!), great location (right near Taksim square which is the beginning of some amazing shopping where you can walk off your full belly) and THE BEST falafels and hummus in Istanbul! We went there 3 days in a row for lunch on our trip... More

Some of the best falafel and humus I've ever had. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome. We had breakfast there twice in the 5 days we were in Taksim Square. Owner was constantly around checking on us. Recommend giving this place a shot while in Taksim Square.

I´ve read so much about this place, but for me it was not a "wow experience". The falafel was decent.

A great feeling of exploring resturants from other nationalities comes when I find this place and ofcourse a must-go for vegan and vegetarians , I enjoy falafel wrap and soup and tabbouleh, The tabbouleh was one of the most delicious and fresh salads that I ever have had.

Literally the best falafel I've ever try. They were crispy and soft at the same time. So fresh and delicious. Falafel wrap is also the bomb - juicy and crispy. All ingredients are fresh and taste amazing by itself. Hummus was so creamy, no chunks, no weird aftertaste. I was asking for no oil on top, so it came amazingly... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
