In Ortakoy area, baked potatoes filled with whatever you want is a traditional food named " kumpir". You will find many places served kumpir, but seems this is the main and have a very nice view over Bosphorus, because is near the water. They have...many deserts also and I recommend "katmer". and they served other food.More

This restaurant is sensationally located with exceptional Bosporus views. Food was lovely however the service and staff attitude terrible. The young men working our area were arrogant and rude. Looking back now I should have walked out….
I have been here several times but I have never ever been served by rude young boys at the front counter in Turkey as I have at this place. They would be the last people to teach me etiquette. I was treated like a second...class citizen. The arabs got first preference I don’t think I looked rich enough. There are a thousand other places to eat stuffed potato. Never againMore
This cafe has the best view of the bridge. We had to self serve getting a baked potato, which was delicious. We sat there and enjoyed the amazing view of the bosphorus along with the fish and jelly fish in the water. Food is simple...but the view is everything.More
Seriously this cafe is must visit . Next to ortakoy cami and a view of the bridge. The price is not expensive. The waffle is recommended. Must try food !!!!!! Waffle $ potato is 49 lira only. Spagetthi with bog portion is 39 lira .
It’s nice place in ortakoy right on banks of bosphorus. Nice views . Good for eating dinner . We had kumpir and it was delicious. We went on weekend and it was pack so we have wait to be seated .
2 cappuccinos + 1 profiterole cake + 1 walnut and honey cake + great views + excellent service = an outstanding experience. The walnut and honey cake is super light and extremely tasty... Highly highly recommended.
I decided to have a quick dinner here, mainly because of the nice view on the Bosphorus. Serivce was slow in indicating where to have a seat, taking the order, food and giving the bill. No alcohol is served, so i couldn't have a beer...fine...anyway. I ordered a big backed potato with curry chicken, very good, and a Turkish coffee. Price is about 7 euro, cheap. I had a quite nice dinner, but you don't have to be hurry.More

This is a good place to have a Turkish Coffee with an excellent view to the Bosphorus. Pricy but nice to sit in open air.
The Kumpir was really delicious. The view is better at night time, you can see the bridge laminated with lights
We were lucky to find a table next to the window a watch the Bosphorus Bridge and the Strait while having lunch. Food was ok and stuff was attentive. Great location.

This restaurant in Besiktas (near the ferry) is known for its kumpir. You get a little paper with topping options - add as many as you want! This traditional Turkish dish is a massive baked potato, filled with butter, cream and all the toppings you...want. Delicious! Make sure you have someone to share it with. A great way to enjoy this more - spend 2-3 hours walking around Dolmabahce palace and then come here and eat your weight in potato :)More
