It is located in Nişantaşı. Whenever ı would in Nişantaşı and would eat something, my choice would be absolutely Hünkar Restaurant because foods are very delicious and healthy. Thé restaurant uses the best quality products in the restaurant. My favorite food is "Hünkar Beğendi". Prices are much more reasonable according to other restaurants in Nişantaşı. And you can find variety... More

All the food was super delicious and it's like your mom made it. If you would like to taste real traditional Turkish cuisine must stop.

A favourite in Istanbul to get a real mix of traditional Turkish home made food that you would not experience in any place... A MUST try if visiting.

Great food, described as Ottoman style but really conventional Turkish - no criticism, faultless, as was the service. But overpriced and we left with a feeling of it being so. Famed for a well stocked wine cellar, bottles started from £28-30. prosecco was £36, all very expensive for Istanbul. Decor not particularly inspiring unless one manages to secure a window... More

I was never disappointed...authentic tasty Turkish cuisine in a traditional atmosphere...The owners family is cooking since the 1950th, which is in a certain sense a guaranty of top quality, especially as the restaurant is sucessful since then. The seasonal menu and the different dishes proposed are equally appreciated by foreigners and locals. We love it....try it out...

This place claims to serve Ottoman cuisine but the food was just run of the mill mediterranean and frankly, quite uninteresting. I ordered a potato salad with octopus and lamb stew. Octopus looked exciting as it was a hug leg on top of a heap of potato. But I was disappointed when I bit into it as it wasn't fresh... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
