As a big fan of coffee, I always explore new places so Kahve Dunyasi is a wonderful discovery for me in Turkey. It's authentic, delicious and affordable. Coffee based drinks like latte, cappuccino and Americano are beyond tasty, pastries and sandwiches fresh and yummy, chocolates to die for! Service is the best in Istanbul, with waiters being so friendly and... More

I visited the one at Bakirkoy which is not listed in Trip Advisor. This cafe is one of the best in turkey to have turkish delight, chocolate and coffee. I had a fruit cake and the taste was fantastic. I got some packages of chocolate covered dried fruits and Turkish delights as souvenirs. They don't serve tea here but who... More

I tried the one at Kanyon mall. They serve very nice turkish delights with pistacio which you have to try and the pistacio wafer is a must to try, very very tasty and delucious.

This time I visited here on my first day in Istanbul. I had a chocolate cake and the taste was fantastic. I wanted to have a tea with the cake, but there was no tea, because this is a coffee shop! So I ordered a coffee and my mouth got thick! Well, . . . all is well that tastes... More

It's one of the best coffee test and place. I took my family and my plan to bring a cup of coffee, but I end up with several orders ice cream, hot chocolate. Long list of verities. Take your time when order.

On your way to or from the Spice Market or walking along the glitzy fashion street this is an excellent rest stop. I chose not to go to the usual coffee bar, and was glad of it. I enjoyed a chestnut cheesecake with espresso but wish I had ordered the more interesting chocolate fondue. Two levels. Many young Turks. OF... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
