Visit to the kadikoy restaurans are going on. Turkish people love to eat "kokorec" and any mussels with beer. As i remember they were cheap and tasty appetizer for beer and it can be much more appropriate than french fried potatos. As well we tested all of them with some beers at the nonsmoker floor.First of all you cannot feel... More

Beautiful fresh and tasty Lamachaun with pots of herbs and lemons on the tables to build your wrap to your liking. Great value.

I love their kokorec and the bread that they use, Very tasty and not so heavy compared to others. However i to admit that bit pricey ! Give a try if you like local food.

If you are around kadikoy and feel like eating fish without spending too much time or money, this is your place. Excellent balik ekmek (fish sandwich ) , midye dolma (stuffed mussels) and hamsi izgara(grilled anchovies) if they are in season. DO NOT try the fried mussels, unless you feel like having some extremely heavy and unhealthy street food.

A restaurant recommended by some friends in an areas populated by many others with seafood as a principal offering – the passage where it is located boasts a goodly number of fishmongers. We enjoyed some very tasty fried mussels and calamari – both were coated with a delicious light batter which complimented the taste of the seafood within. As with... More

I did not have the chance to dine in at this restaurant but i tried their fried and stuffed mussels and it was amazing! Being new to Istanbul, I have always wanted to try the stuffed mussels but was hesitant to have a go at those road side stalls. Mercan fries their mussels right in front of their stall and... More

Situated in the Asian side of Istanbul, this place offers excellent kokorec. We did not taste the mussels, because we could not resist taking a second portion of kokorec and after that we were full. If you pass by the area, it is a place you must visit.

Thank boumako
