The restaurant, inside the Rahmi Koc museum (a private museum with great collection depicting industrial progress) serves continental and Turkish cuisine. The restaurant has a romantic ambiance, also suitable for business lunch and dinners.

Located inside Rahmi Koc museum is a very good option for museum visitors . Lunch is recommended. Especially during summer time , the terrace is on the sea is very much enyoyable. Food is with avearage taste but the service is superior. A little bit overpriced .

Our regular haunt when visiting the Rahmi M. Koç museum in Istanbul. Service is on the relaxed side, but not a great issue (except not wanting to miss the vintage boat trip). We did not miss the boat! Great place to chill, dividing the museum exploration and with lovely view of the marine exhibits and the Golden Horn. A+

Had an evening meal there with customers, the surroundings are really nice and you are close to the water and in the midst of a museum, Having said that, the food was average, but good. Had Prawns that were in some sort of dogh with tartare dip and sweetsour chilli dip for starters. For entree it was the beef fillet,... More

After viewing the Rahmi Koc Transportation Museum, tried this restaurant, which is on premises but is a separate entity. We had snacks in the afternoon and decided to come back for our final night in Istanbul. It was fabulous. Located right on the northern bank of the Golden Horn, the views were soothing and lovely. The atmosphere was relaxing as... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
