Ayasoluk Restaurant serves fresh, local food in a beautiful setting. Our daily specials feature freshly caught Seabass from the Aegean Sea, or steak baked in the oven. Our set menu includes mezes, soup, salad, a starter, the main course and dessert. Or order al a cart or choose a different main course. We did not stay at the hotel but we visited the restaurant several times during our stay, it's the best in town, the decoration is beautiful. The sunset views were stunning and romantic, and the food was exquisite, we would very much recommend the beef, lamb shank, soup and fish. The staff were incredibly kind, on our first visit one of our party had a migraine, the staff were very caring and packaged the delicious food up to take home, we returned the next evening for an amazing traditional paneer kanafe desert.
They also has a gorgeous dog called Argus, we loved playing with him and enjoying conversation with the manager,- such excellent service, we were made to feel like family!

Our family came to see Ephesus and we had no intention of spending the night in Selçuk. In fact our plan was to travel to Bodrum after visiting the ruins. We simply wanted to grab a quick lunch, and we read about Ayasoluk online.
However, as soon as we walked through the front gate, we realized that Ayasoluk is the destination. Murselin, the hotel and restaurant manager welcomed us in, and within a shot time we felt we’d made a new friend. He won us over with his enchanting hospitality and we decided to rent a couple rooms. That evening we stayed up late into the night with the family of the hotel owner.
The food was simply exquisite. The hospitality - top shelf! The views are beautiful! The rooms are charming! Everything was clean and pristine!
Our time at this little hotel marks one of the best days of our lives.
If you want the perfect experience in Selçuk, I highly recommend that you arrive at the Ephesus Ruins early in the morning right when they open. Spend three or four hours enjoying the ancient history, and then retreat to this little cut of paradise. Order a bottle of wine, and sit outside next to the pool, eat as much lamb as you can fit in your belly. You’ll never want to leave. If your traveling to Selçuk, Ayasoluk is the destination!

This was our last dinner in Turkey. It’s such a cute little place, from the terrace you can see the mountains and the castle. The waiters couldn’t have been nicer and made our experience 10 times better. We felt very welcomed. Dinner was amazing, as well. The lamb shank and tenderloin were very tasty and cooked to an incredible standard!

This restaurant was only a block away from our hotel so it was an excellent find! From the moment we entered the premises to the time we left, we felt very welcomed. The view of the sunset from our table was spectacular. Our server, Nidal, was made sure that we were enjoying our time, food & drinks. My husband & I shared the chicken in phyllo dish & it was definitely a sharing dish as it was a generous portion & was very delicious. Our friend had the vegetarian oven baked dish & it was perfectly made & again, a generous portion.
We had the most amazing time & would most definitely go back & recommend highly!

When you see five stars and several reviews you start to question the validity. However this is truly the gem that was written by several others. The grilled vegetables, the lamb shanks and the hummus dip was exceptional. The recommended wine which was a dry younger wine paired perfectly. The following night we went back for dessert and wine and had the fruit platter and the cheese dessert which was similar to baclava. Though I’m not a dessert guy others really enjoyed it.
Beyond the food the service was professional and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant has only about 8 tables but laid out perfectly to allow casual conversation with other guests but not on top of each other.
Definitely worth the visit!

My husband and I dined here in November 2020, and the food was unbelievable. We've traveled a great deal, all over the world, and this was one of the best meals we've had. We foolishly ordered way too much food and finished it all. The chef, a lovely Kurdish woman, came out to greet us and introduced herself. Hussain provided top-notch service. The subtlety and richness of the flavors, and the amazing balance of everything, were just legendary. We'll talk about this meal for the rest of our lives. Worth every penny and thensome.

We came here for dinner without a reservation, but we got a table with no problem. Maybe during peak season it might be best to book.
There was a very friendly welcome and we were seated on the terrace with a view towards the sunset which was lovely.
We selected the set menu which included a vegetable soup, fresh bread, a selection of meze dishes, a choice of lamb shank or beef tenderloin, dessert and tea.
The wine by the glass was excellent.
Everything including the soup and mezes was very tasty. The main courses of lamb and beef were expertly cooked.
We had started to get plagued by mozzies so we asked to go inside which was obliged.
We finished inside with kunefe and ice cream, and apple tea. Service throughout was very nice and friendly. The bill was 2875 TL which we were happy with for the quality of food and service.

we had an outstanding meal here! both ordered the "meatballs" and both of us loved it. they were little meat patties roasted that were very flavorful and has perfect texture with a little char on the outside and softer on the inside. served with rice pilaf, roasted vegetables, and a spicy sauce. and the service is wonderful too. recommend!

I would HIGHLY recommend visiting this spot!
Very tasty food, good portions, and friendly service, and the decor is great. we all really enjoyed this place.
Got beef steak and it was properly cooked and the staff Nidal served with a
beautiful big smile. My friend and I sat close to the window and could see the sunset, and it was so beautiful.
It was one of our best meals in Turkey. What a gem!
I hope to come back again!!!

We almost walked by Ayasoluk, which I had read was excellent, but the very friendly manager waved us in to the beautiful property, which is a hotel and has lovely shops downstairs as well as a restaurant. The food was delicious and had vegetarian options, including baked vegetables. What a spectacular sunset view as we waited for dinner. Highly recommend!

We had breakfast in this restaurant where we had stayed the night on our arrival at Izmir. It was a later night flight and after collecting our bags and rental car, it was well past midnight when we arrived, but our hosts welcomed us with such cheer as if it was daytime! Wonderful hosts!
There was open breakfast in the morning and everything was refreshing and yummy. From cereals to toast, from Turkish style omlettes to stir fried veggies, from juices to Turkish tea and coffee, there was everything available. It was a great start to the hot, hot day we spent exploring the ruins of Ephesus.

If you're ever in the area, absolutely check out this amazing restaurant!! The owner came out and chatted with us-- made us feel like family the entire dinner. The amazing outside deck is the place to be for a sunset. The food and wine was reasonably priced and very tasty.

Amazing food, nice view and cheap!
The lamb shank was amazing and there are alot of vegetarian options.
The host of the restaurant spoke English very well and went above and beyond to be of service.

Not only is this the best restaurant in Selcuk by a mile it is also like going to a family home for your dinner because the staff are just fabulous. We ate here four evenings and each time the food was wonderful. The view from the roof is beautiful and we watched the sun setting each evening. The staff remembered our names, chatted with us and gave us information about the town and the best places to visit. They went out of their way to be helpful especially Jamal and Hussain. There is a beautiful git shop downstairs and the quality of the merchandise is the best we saw during our trip. The food is very reasonably priced and the view alone is worth the visit.

I went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch with my wife and our two daughters in our day in Selçuk to visit Ephesos and the other historical places around. The impression of all of us was excellent. We had lunch outside in a wonderful scenery; the meal was of the highest quality and at a very good relation quality/price. We received quite an exquisite attention from all the personnel: manager, waiters and cook. We recommend the künefe, the best we had eaten in Turkey.
We highly recommend this restaurant together with the hotel in a supreme environment.
