While the decor of the restaurant was unique, the atmosphere was a little off especially because the place was completely empty. The toilet seat was broken. The food was average but nothing more (other than the couscous which was great). Wouldn't come back again

Moroccan food is nicely served at Darna. The menu is varied and the portions are generally large. I love the pastille appetizer. In fact, there is nothing that we have ordered there that we did not enjoy

First, the restaurant is a little expensive, but no more so than many other restaurants in Jerusalem, and for us it was by far the best dining experience in 3 weeks for the amount we paid (less than 600 shekels for 3). The ambience is...More

We read the many good -- and a few bad -- reviews of this place on Trip Advisor and chose it for a special dinner for our family. Nothing was wrong, but nothing was particularly good either. The decor is lovely, but the benches and...More

As I have said in reviews posted over the years (most recently in 2015) this is one of our all-time favorite restaurants in Jerusalem. The Moroccan cuisine is outstanding, the setting is fascinating and the service, while occasionally a bit slow, very helpful and accommodating....More

From you outside, a shabby alley, you begin to wonder what you are getting into, but once you turn left into the restaurant, the magic happens. Low tables and stools in Moroccan decor, effusive friendly management and helpful friendly waitstaff, but then the spectacular food....More

The owner of the restaurant selected all of our dishes. We started off with a 12 plate appetizer selection that had so many interesting flavors. I especially loved the stuffed artichokes. The were perfectly cooked. We then continued with an amazing leg of lamb with...More

If you only knew what you saw from the street, you'd never go in this place. And, you would miss a memorable dinner! We went because of the Trip Advisor reviews. Great family dinner (3 adult siblings) with food and wine recommended and impeccably served...More

I was in three Moroccan restaurants: in Paris, in Marrakesh (Morocco) and in, well, Jerusalem. Sorry to say it, but, the Jerusalem one was a disappointment. The food is over-spiced and for an European, it is a little difficult. I like oriental spices, but to...More
