AzZahra Restaurant is the best place for an italien Pizza in East Jerusalem, close to Damascus Gate. Even though the restaurant is well renowned for it's thin, stone-oven baked Pizza, if you or members of your group have cravings for traditional middle eastern food, (all...More

Pros: We tried their hummus, Moroccan cigars (potatoes wrapped in dough), and sambusek (minced beef puff pastry). On a second visit, we tried the pizza, for which the restaurant is well known because of their brick oven. Every dish we tried was well prepared and...More

Azzahra is never a disapointment. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is good. They serve both traditional delicious palestinian food and european food, such as for example pizza.

This restaurant has a varied menu and includes everything from pizza (not recommended) to tajine (highly recommended) and other middle eastern favourites. The food is tasty but they tend to give you far too much rice. The atmosphere is OK although a little cavernous.More
