Holidaying in Jerusalem we visited the Sambooki Bakery regularly and the various pastries are always delightful. We ordered take-away coffee and chocolates and were extremely pleased that they were equally brilliant!

This restaurant is a really good spot for breakfast - they have got some good coffee, a lot of delicious pastries & bagels, and several shakshukas to choose from (they were not the best we have had, but pretty good).

Price is average for cafe's in Jerusalem's city center. What really stands out, however, are the lackluster staff and their terrible customer service. Prepare to be met with unenthusiastic stares and indifference from the moment you walk in til the moment you walk out. You are simply a nuisance as a customer. In addition to this, their pastry and cookie... More

While walking on Jaffa street I came across Sambooki. There was a very large selection of cookies and pastries. I purchased one of many different types to take home. Everything was delicious. I look forward to going back.

After getting up early and walking from our hotel to the Old City of Jerusalem my family and I got pretty hungry for breakfast. Not far from the Jaffa Gate, inside the Old City, we enter this bakery shop/café and had some of the freshest, delicious and varied types of pastries that we ever had. Accompanied by good café latte... More

Our family wanted a quick, inexpensive lunch when in the Jewish Quarter. We remembered that Sam Booki had a store near the Cardo so we went there for lunch. My daughter and I had a personal size pizza and a soda and shared a jell-y filled donut and we were completely satisfied. The price 56 shekels. Compare that to some... More

We've eaten at Sambooki many times while in Jerusalem. The pastries are good and a good value. Their coffees are hot and delicious too. Don't expect to be greeted by a warm, fuzzy person. Service is good, but no one will treat you like they're happy you're there. Hey, you're there for the great tasting pastries and coffee for a... More

I've only gone to Sambooki's for their pastries! In fact, it might be my favorite sweet ever! A little triangular pastry filled with the most amazing chocolate! All my friends that know of Sambooki's are terribly jealous when I am in Jerusalem... partaking in this little treasure!! In fact, it's such a big deal for all of us that I... More

Just 10 mins outside the Old City and easy to walk to. It has an excellent bakery, also making sandwiches and wraps with fresh ingredients each day. We ate here on numerous occasions and always enjoyed the food and the attentive service. The prices are very reasonable......a great place for a coffee or a lunch.
