We've been eating at the Village Green restaurant for many years. They are one of the pioneers of the vegetarian-vegan food in Jerusalem over the past 2 decades. Right next to the new light-rail train down town near Ben Yehuda Street walking path, just off ZION Square. You don't have to order an entire meal to be full, even tho... More

Pioneers of the Vegetarian-Vegan scene when it still wasn't a thing yet - and still one of the very best. A comfortable, cozy place to eat great vegetarian or vegan food.

Hadn't been there since before the light rail was built there. Was delighted. Food was excellent. You choose "cafeteria style", and the waitress was extremely helpful. This vegetarian restaurant was cozy, clean, and very welcoming.

Really rad service usually. Barry Sunil runs the place really well and they always have good food. The chocolate pie with peanut butter on top is amazing and the soups are really tasty. Everything in here is vegan other than the few dishes that have milk. (Very few) Nothing is organic. But everything is delicious and kosher. They don't use... More

Was really happy with my dinner here. The waitress took a lot of time to explain different things and help us make a choice. I had an excellent soup with beans and as a main had a vegetarian shepherd´s pie which was really tasty and filling. The venue is a bit boring, but very calm. So great if you´re looking... More

First time there. Healthy food and you could eat a lot, it seems. They helped extra for me to get the food I needed that day - Thank you! But the premises are boring!

This Village green restaurant lacks atmosphere and is more of a self-help concept. The food is fresh and there is a variety to choose from. Service was friendly.
