We had a delightful dinner at this cozy restaurant in an interesting part of the city. The restaurant is clustered with some art shops but unfortunately, the other shops were closed when we were there. I was part of a tour group and we had dinner arranged by our guide on the second floor of the restaurant. Dinner started with... More

We came here with a very large group which is always a challenge for the restaurant and I do not know the budget per person so the value for money aspect is impossible to judge. We got a series of dishes mostly meat based but also vegetarian options that were shared with the table and while perfectly alright, most dishes... More

We obviously went to the Eucalyptus fir their well known excellent food and yes, it really is. The slow cooked neck of lamb may be one of the best meals I've ever had and my wife's fish wad delicious. What really stood out, and you'll understand this if you've been out and about in Jerusalem, was the warm and welcoming... More

The Artist Colony is situated in a park just outside the Jaffa Gate, one of the entrances to the Old City. The Eucalyptus is located in the Artist Colony closest to the thoroughfare that runs along the wall of the Old City. We had a bit of an adventure finding the place on the evening we decided to dine outside... More

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was wonderful and the Chef Moshe Basson visited out table to make sure we were having a wonderful meal and good experience. We were a table of 4 and we walked in, it is advisable to make reservations. We were lucky it was a Tuesday night, but they were still busy. The... More

A group of us touring together had reservations for dinner on Mar 23 after the Sound and Light Show at the Citadel/ The tower of David Museum. This restaurant is in ideal location, quiet with private rooms for groups. Chef Basson is proud of his accomplishments and makes a point of visiting with his patrons, introducing the spices and the... More

The Eucalyptus is an establishment, run by chef Moshe Basson for many years. He moved from one location to another, and is now sitting opposite the walls of the Old City. He specializes in preparing "wartime" food, so he collects cyclemen leaves and other exotic such unusual items in the fields, and uses them in his kitchen for stuffing and... More
