We had the mushroom oreganato salad. It was huge and very tasty. Great value for both the quality and the serving size! Lots of different unique flavor which didn't blend together. Could almost be enough for two people for dinner. We also had the mezzeh, a huge portion of about 7 small plates of dips and olives. Came with two... More

A very nice place in a lovely botanical garden of Jerusalem. The food is pretty good but the environment is lovely.

My friend and I ate had lunch at Caffit's Emek Refaim branch. The food was mediocre: the leek patties for an appetizer were oily and tasteless, and the quinoa salad was small bits of the grain and really just tehina and silan on iceberg lettuce. Meanwhile, the service was awful, despite a gaggle of young people who call themselves waiters... More

I accidentally discovered Caffit a few years ago, and ordered their Foccacina by chance. It's literally one of the best breads I've had in the world, and I travel a lot. Warm, soft, with a delicious sugar glaze and tasty dips. Really amazing. The whole place has a great atmosphere. The bar tender was hilarious and made very good menu... More

I would say best soup in Jerusalem but I haven't eaten all the soup in Jerusalem yet. There's a wide variety of dairy offerings, and the soups are really terrific. If you are running late on a Friday, these guys wait until the last minute to close for Shabbat.

We love the German Colony. It's artsy atmosphere makes it seem a light year from the rest of Jerusalem. We stumbled upon Caffit looking for lunch and we were blessed by our experience. The whole place was buzzing. Our order was promptly prepared and perfect for us. We'll be back on our next visit to Jerusalem.

Had dinner in Emek Refaim. We ordered soups which were pretty good. When the bill came the charge was higher than the menu prices. When I complained to hostess, I was told that there was a "special" this week. Needless to say I never heard of a special where the price rises, especially since I did not want the added... More

I recently stayed in the German Colony for a week, and was thrilled to discover Caffit just a couple of blocks away. I first went there for breakfast, with my son and I ordering the "Caffit Breakfast for Two." My first taste of an Israeli breakfast, and it was fantastic. So many little things to try, and we couldn't even... More

Lucky we booked a table because the place was packed. We ordered the Tuscan soup which was delicious. We ordered eggplant, fried cauliflower that were very good. For our main dish we had the grilled salmon fillet with potato wedges and green beans. It was an excellent choice. We also had the pasta in a great creamy sauce. We will... More

Fresh food, generous portions, good ambiance, and friendly service . What else do you want if you are visiting Jerusalem and lives on the German district
