We visitied the place after a long day of walking. They offer cheap (compared to other Jerusalem restaurants) food. The food is a very basic meat-based arab grilled food, however prepared wonderfully. Recomended for a quick bite. Located in the heart of arab market in an ancient building.

Ok, the restaurant itselve looks quite nice and interesting inside with all the old stone walls and ceiling. But that's about the only positive thing I can say about this restaurant. Our food was way below average with TERRIBLY GREASY french fries, the worst I ever ate anywhere ! I guess they must use the oil for weeks without changing... More

A tiny restaurant in the heart of Arab market, very authentical in my opinion. Very nice interior (no AC) and the most important - the food is VERY delicious and cheap. After walking around all these narrow market streets full of spices and eastern sweets and carpets, it was nice to find this little restaurant with the low prices, great... More

This restaurant was next to our hotel so we ate two dinners there after long days of walking in the hot sun. Both times we were very satisfied. Prices are very cheap compared to most restaurants in Jerusalem. Food is very basic but delicious. Added bonus is that they have a very entertaining Conure bird that gets everybody's attention.

We had a remarkable experience in the restaurant. After a very tasty and good lunch consisting of grilled chicken, meze and flat bread we found that we couldn't pay by credit card. After fishing around in backpacks, coats, kid's pockets and money boxes we discovered that unfortunately we didn't have enough cash. And there were no ATMs that were open,... More

Great atmosphere as it's in a 400+ year old building deep in the Jewish sector. Most of the décor was dated and a bit run down, however you could that they were in the process of updating. The fountain in lovely and the patrons were a mix of Hassidic Jews, Arabs and tourists. Made for a nice quick relaxing lunch... More

Typical little Middle-Eastern restaurant in the old city. Not the cleanest in the world, but comes with the territory. Wonderful, prompt service, very tasty food, good price and all with a smile. And a lovely fountain in the middle of the restaurant! I'm sure we'll return.

Al Nasser is on a busy street in the old city of Jerusalem, though it is much quieter in the evening. The restaurant is well-appointed inside, though the place settings, dishes and utensils are quite basic. It is therefore perfect for students, families with kids or just a simple meal in a place where you can talk. I like the... More
