We've eaten too much pizza and burgers in Israel, and falafel! Excited to find this Chinese place by where we were staying. Seemed to be very popular with locals (vs tourists). Food was expensive, but amazing! Like the best Chinese ever. Excellent service, would go again for sure. Regarding reviews stating poor service. I've notice that service in Israel isn't... More

my husband and I went to this restaurant, we started off with sushi the service off the bat was slow and didn't approach the table until you called for them more than once. We received our sushi and both my husband and I each tasted a piece. We realized that they had forgotten an ingredient in the roll and requested... More

We went out for dinner and was impressed! We were seated and brought menus. Out waiter was very knowledgeable about all the food and we should have taken advantage of that fact... We ordered 4 main courses that was put in the center of the table and we all shared. We has sweet, savory, spicy and citrus! All though the... More

We had high expectations but were very disappointed. Positives: beautiful decor Negatives: despite only one other table occupied they seated us right next to them. And then the next couple to come in were seated adjacent to us. We asked for soup without soup mix/msg so they were bland. The dim sum tasted like it was from the freezer. The... More

The Little House in Rechavia could not have warmer, or more accommodating. It is perfectly located. Nothing is not within a reasonable walking distance. Well priced.

I feel like my review of Sheyan is coloured by the fact that I was desperate for some non-Israeli food by the time I got to this restaurant. So, while I've given Sheyan a rating of "very good" that is contextual. It's very good Asian food for Jerusalem but I'm not sure if it would stack up globally. The food... More

dim lighting and great service - but focus was on the big spenders; wine was pricey so we didn't order and service diminished; food was plenty and tasty; deserts not very imaginative

The food was good, not diet friendly at all! Good presentation, not cheap but not too expensive. Lovely atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent AND she had a really good sense of humour

Thank Linda S
