There are a number of good hummus places in Jerusalem. To be great, you must stand out, really make an impression. Pinati makes that grade with excellent hummus, soups, fellafal, etc. Service is good and the location is central, easy to get to. Don't take my word for it. Give it a try. You will be happy you did.

Pinati is centrally located in Jerusalem. The service is fast and friendly. The food is excellent. The restaurant is small, but it is worth the wait. The hummus is excellent as are the pickles and eggplant.

We were walking around deciding where we were going for lunch. This, kosher "Little Corner" was busy and the food on the tables looked good, so we sat. Well, what a surprise. This was in the top for us of best lunch. We got hummus with meat on top, which we never had before and LOVED! We also got schnitzel.... More

Jerusalem and Pinati belong together. Hummus with meat (!) is unbeatable, also the Moussaka is very good. Service is very quick and excellent (it's not a place to calm down...). Still love it!

On previous visits to Jerusalem we discovered this little but incredibly popular hummus joint. On the day I called for some hummus to take away it was as busy as ever. When I bought the hummus the gentlemen that run the place were very quick to tell me that it should be put in the fridge for at least one... More

If you are looking for the best Israeli home made tasting food, this is the place. I've been to Jerusalen about 5 times this visit and ate here each time. The must haves: kube soup, cuscus, hummus and meatballs. If you are there in Friday than must have the red Kube. This is not a fancy restaurant. Very basic and... More

This is a small restaurant and very busy. Service was quick and very good. Food was good but not a large selection. We had mousakka. the hummus was very good and pita was fresh. I would go back again.

Simple bland humus. Meat on top was oddly spiced. Very over sweet grape juice and side dishes not as fresh as I remember. Better options these days in Jerusalem
