Tmol Shilshom Cafe has a few different seating areas to include a small courtyard. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was very good...I look forward to coming back to try a few other items on the menu. The atmosphere calls for you to order a coffee and hang out with a good book.

Located above a Vegan Restaurant just off the main thoroughfare of Ben Yehudah Street. The menu is eclectic and will satisfy non-meat eaters. The menu includes fish options as well as some tempting vegan and vegetarian options.

Hidden behind the street, through a narrow alley, this place is worth searching for (just look for the signs). Cozy, quiet, comfortable and with great service, they have indoor and outdoor seating and free wifi. The food was thoroughly delicious and the shakshuka (53 Shekels; with juice, bread and small salad included) was the best we had in Israel.

This place is a mix of a restaurant, cafe, bookstore and even art preformances at evening. It has a tranquil atmosphere, serves tasty vegetarian & milky dishes. One can eat & read a book down from the shelf, or both. Wifi connection allows using a computer as well.

We've been visiting this place for the last twenty years, and it succeeds in maintaining its special, intimate, character. The food is good, as is the service. But the main reason to visit is the atmosphere...

After touring Old Jerusalem, our friends brought us here for dinner. It was everything we had hoped it would be. Great service, a unique atmosphere, and excellent food. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient. I got Danny The Red, which was gnocchi colored by beets in a cream sauce. It was delicious.

This is a very quaint little place right in the middle of town in Jerusalem, where the menues are encased within book covers, the shelves all around you hold books in several languages, the atmosphere is relaxed and all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the excellent food and drinks.
