This was my first time at a "meat fest" in Israel. Granted it was in 2012, 5 years ago, but it should be noted that over the years whenever I think of "I want some meat" my thoughts keep taking me back to this place. In my humble opinion the meat was excellent. I enjoyed every bite and new taste... More

given the mixed reviews we decided to dine at Itzik Hagadol and see for ourselves;five of us stopped by for dinner on a busy Thursday evening.theres a huge meat display in the window which emphasises the restaurant speciality. we started with the mixed mezes which includes everything from hummus thru to a large selection of salads.we added veal sweetbreads(Is98) we... Our flight attendant suggested big issac . What a great place . Delicious endless salads , hunmous and fresh baked pitas, grilled chicken . Highly recommended . Just as you enter old Jaffa from the beach area

Sat with friends at Itzik. Food in general was fair, nothing out of the ordinary, just basic middle eastern salads and grilled meats. The only issue at this establishment is that it is a diner factory, meaning that from the moment you order, you constantly feel pressure from the waiter to finish eating and clear the way for the next... Visited this restaurant, food was very good, good selection of salads and meats but very pricey. The staff have to be the most miserable and unhelpful staff I think I've ever come across in an Israeli restaurant. Left a 100 shekel tip (about £25) and the waiter just took the money without so much as a smile or a thank... More

You can see the salad array from the photograph above. Every single salad was delicious. Even the French fries were exceptionally good. I ordered the lamb chops, which were the best I've ever had in Israel. They were cut unusually thick, were not overdone, and I was able to cut them with the wrong side of the knife, as they... More

This is a meat restaurant... if you are not aware things are broken down like that in Israel so do not expect much more than meat and some amazing mezze- the hummus and bread were fantastic and as is the custom, the 'littleplates' are enough for a full meal. But the chicken skewers were delicious! It can be a bit... More

Say that is a Confirmation that they don't have the propper Teudà of the Rabanut ! To give an explication on what is the Teudà is a Certificate released by... More

Enjoy your meal from the first moment you sit at the table. You get a whole lot of salads and lovely starters which bring you directly to your choice of skewers or meat. Just delicious. Ever time i'm in Israel I come to have a meal at Itzik hagadol..it's a must for all the family.

Fantastic starter salad selection followed by marvelous and varied selection of meat, on bone or on skewers. A wonderful meal. Restaurant is very family friendly, and boisterous. Great fun. If you're in a group you need to make a reservation.
