The restaurant is famous across the major countries of the world and located at the heart of the downtown of Amman. The display of the restaurant reflects what was written about the restaurant in local and international newspaper and magazines in different languages. Traditional dishes such as; soya, Homs and Flafel are being served with pure olive oil besides tea... More

Really nice place where you get really tasty local food for a good price and super quick. This is one of the most famous places to eat in Amman according to locals. Go there!

My Jordanian friends took me to Hasham which is a local favorite. While not a glamorous setting it does convey the feeling of outdoor cafes in the Middle East. Clearly very popular it offers local favorites like falafels, Hummus (several kinds), pickles, moutabel and other Arabic dishes. Pleasant and relaxed with good food. This restaurant has been frequented by the... More

I will not be talking about the food.Even though for me it is normal plus there is thousands of reviews out there talking about it. If you visited Amman Hachem is a must experience. Definitely order a selection of all the dishes (foul, hummus, fatte, falafel, vegetables...) ask for fries and tea!!! Hachem is about the atmosphere ,the common people mixed with... More

Amazing low key vegetarian meal that was fresh and amazing. The falafel was incredibly flavorful, the hummus was smooth. Get the tea and add in some mint from the fresh plate of tomatoes and peppers they bring out.

Excellent food and quick service. Just order the mix and let them bring out a healthy helping of hummus, felafel, etc. Great stop during shopping.

Hummus, Falafel and Fool (Beans) were super excellent I strongly recommend this place. If you have visited Jordan this place is must one of the best foods I ate in Jordan ! highly recommended. The restaurant operated since 1956 authentic bilad al sham cuisine.. We arrived as late lunch and early dinner time - worth every JD :)

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend so had high expectations. We arrived at lunch time and were lucky enough to get a table. The restaurant was buzzing with people everywhere! We were seated quickly and ordered the meal everyone else had - falafel, flatbread, chips, tea, salad and humous! Delicious! And all costing 5JD for two! We ended... More

It's a local place that our Jordanian guide took us to and would be a real bonus to international travelers! It has fantastic food - the best we had on our 15 day trip to Israel and Jordan. All vegetarian: three different kinds of hummus, stuffed and regular felafel, fresh tomatoes and onions, what we would call French fries.
