Couqley is by far my best restaurant in Lebanon! This place is just one of a kind. The food is beyond delicious. The service is perfect and all the team is so friendly. My two favorite items on the menu are the steak frites and the pain perdu which both are simply divine, without forgetting Fady's lemonade (the bar tender... More

Expensive. Starting from the parking, everything is money, big money. Why? Very tight spaces, somehow deserted building.

Dbayeh Branch: Went there again after many disappointing visits. We ordered our usual steak frites and it was much better than it was on our last two visits. Waiters can definitely be nicer But this is probably the best place in Lebanon for steak frites.

We booked a dinner at Couqley for my Birthday with 8 of my friends and it was the worst choice ever. 1) All of our side salads were served 25 mins after the steaks while the extra sauce we ordered took an additional 20 mins (when we were almost done with our meals). 2) While everything else was late, unfortunately,... I have been to Couqley Dbayeh branch before and this was my first visit to Gemayzeh branch. Nestled in a nice alley, cosy seating. The place was packed but always same excellent quality of food. Service was not bad considering the busy day. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants in Beirut, I like everything they offer: the salads and appetizers are really good, the steak & frites is my usual pick (dressing and fries are very yummy). The best of all: the "pain perdu" for dessert. No words to describe how tasty it is. Go and try it for yourself!

We had the turkey special during the Christmas holiday. The service was fast and clean, even though the place was packed. The meal was delicious and so was the dessert. One comment about the valet parking service is that nobody was wearing a vest to identify them. We alerted the manager, who apologized nicely and assured that the issue was... More
