I guess anyone visiting Bogotà will end up in this museum. And although one would not think it's the best place to eat, I have to say that their "Ajiaco" is really tasty and worth a stop for lunch...

After a visit of the amazing museum we wanted to have quick lunch before heading to the conference. We did not regret it. The restaurant offered a good selection of different foods. We all took salads. The portions were big and the quality was very good. Staff was nice and fast.

The cafe was our first stop in Bogotá, besides the actual museum. We were beyond impressed with how the coffee is made here - coffee-making in Colombia is an art! Needles to say we ordered coffee and a tomato "danish" that was delicious! So much so that we ordered a second one to go, especially since it was inexpensive.

I only ate at the cafe but it was very pleasant for a light snack and coffee at the end of a visit to the Museum, I particularly appreciated the polite smiling service despite my not speaking any Spanish.

Before exploring the museo we have had lunch at the museo coffee, recommended by our driver. We tried the local food Ajiaco and the local drink Panela, and found it amazingly good!!!... Worth a visit to break the museo tour

I am reviewing the RESTAURANT, not the tiny cafe, serving pastries and coffee downstairs, beside the gift shop. The food was acceptable, the unsmiling, lazy service was not. The waiters and waitresses do not seem to enjoy their work. They concentrate on setting up tables, not on taking orders or picking them up.

We thought at first that the busy restaurant was full, but a table was quickly found for us, and we were given menus in English which helped us select a very good meal.

Well located and quite big restaurant of the museum, including many regional dishes of perfect quality. Expect to be served quick and the sittings are not very extended. During lunch time there can be a huge line so try to arrive just before 12! The well-known soups and meat dishes are very large portions and perfect for another afternoon in... More

My Colombian friend took me there as I did not know where to go. The place has a tight security as I was not allowed to remain in the car while my friend parked the car in the museum parking garage. I waited for her and we went straight to the museum cafe which I will give a separate review.... More

Well organized, very nice construction. I guess they need more tour guys! But it's ok you can walk around by yourself. Sundays are no cost entrance!! Nice
