Have in mind the place is mainly a party site than everything as has been like that for years in the nightlife of Bogota. I came just because the insistence of someone in our party looking for good Caribbean -colombian food and all was a failure. The service dull and bad, coming late, with no waiter/waitress assigned to our table.... More

Gaira is one of my favorite places to go with friends on a Friday or Saturday night! To do it right, it's best to make a dinner reservation around 7/8pm (make sure to specify dinner, or the reservation might be for standing/ dancing). Once you get a good table, enjoy dinner, start drinking your cocktails or getting bottles of aguardiente...... More

We visited Gaira for the first time on Thursday night with 6 friends, and what an amazing place. It will probably be my favourite place in the city of Bogota. The restaurant is themed, much like Andres Carne de Res, and consists of three levels (four, however the fourth seemed to be under construction). The restaurant has great music, an... More

This is Carlos Vives the famous Colombian singer's answer to Hard Rock Cafe. Excellent place for dinner, music and live music to dance

This restaurant is owned by pop star Carlos Vives, and is like a Colombian Hard-Rock Cafe. The place is decorated with photos and souvenirs from Colombian singers and musicians, although the majority of these seem to relate to Carlos himself. The restaurant is not in a particularly central part of Bogota, but worth visiting. For tourists, it would give a... More

Emblematic, must go place in Bogota to enjoy local live music and excellent DJs. Music includes mostly Carlos Vives (owner) famous songs. Wanna dance all night? This is the place! The food is excellent! Perfect match for enjoy a great night! Notice that there is a cover (fee to access) per person and it is better to arrive before 7... More

Good food, ambiance, reasonable prices for a great experience. We sat outdoors , bad idea ! They closed the blinds when the live music started. The coconut lemonade is delicious ! If you want to avoid the crowd go on a Sunday mid-afternoon.

We went twice during our visit to Bogota. The music show was amazing... Carlos Vives decided to stop by and surprise us with an free hour concert. The food was great. The Chicharrones are to die for. We had a great time. Totally recommended!!!!
