Having recently gotten into shape I was a bit nervous going to Tonga where most of the population is overweight. The bibimbap is tasty and filling without being too expensive. The owner is lovely but watch out for the Tongan waitress who often pretends she doesn't hear what you have said and orders extra. This happened to me and another... More

We went for dinner at Korea house after a day on pangiamoto island. The service was great, and the food was pretty good. I know not all ingredients are available in Tonga all the time, so they definitely did well with what they have available. We tried most of the menu items and there wasn't a bite left on any... This place was a lifesaver in Tonga - especially for us vegetarians. The food was not only delicious and plentiful, but also inexpensive and conveniently located across from the pier. If you're looking for something different from the typical Tongan dish - something with spice, flavor, and variety - then check this place out! Friendly Korean owners, quick service, and... More

Sandwiches, chicken dishes and fish and chips are the common food you will find in Nuku alofa. but if you want something different, something to tickle and spice up your palate, head to the Korean House by the waterfront in Vuna Road. The spicy pork soup (cannot remember the name now) served with rice and all those pickled vegetables hit... More

Have gone to Korea house on many occasions. Enjoy and love Korean food and it's so close to town and easy to get to. Right next to a bar so drinks after dinner are definitely a must. Great for families and couples.

Best Asian food in Tongatapu. Good service. Very basic tables and chairs. Prices are really good too. Must eat here!

We had the sashimi and it came as a "Tongan serve" which is huge. The tuna was super fresh and was fillets that covered half a large plate. We had beef bulgolgi and chicken sweet and sour which had a slight chilli kick. Very tasty.

Korea House is something straight out of Korea. Given the tropical surroundings, it could have been Jeju Island in Korea. The food is fresh, truly Korean and this is backed up with genuine Korean host and hostess (a husband and wife team). The only downside is the lack of cold beer or cold drinks of any kind, which in the... More
