The restaurant itself is very nice, open and airy, which is good when you're sitting at a teppanyaki grill. The chef was ok, not the best I've seen, but he did make an effort. The quality of the food was excellent and seasoned well. Unfortunately the chef didn't ask anyone who ordered steak how they wanted their meat cooked, so... More

Fine dining it certainly is not. The restaurant décor is quite nice but that’s about it. The food was very mediocre and the service terrible. (although there were only two tables occupied including ours) We waited about 20 minutes for the bill, and another 20 minutes to pay with a credit card. Hallo!! This is a 4 star hotel!

Nice food, but then again, it was part of a wedding, so unsure about value for whatever was paid :).

At the restaurant as I write! Wanted to try the A la carte menu but told they were fully booked. 1hr 10 mins later, one table is in use with a couple and 2 children !!! So, we opted for teppanyaki. An entree of green papaya salad was flavourless ..... the worst I have ever been served! We await the... More

We were the only patrons the evening we visited - and were treated like royalty. We watched the food being prepared, both the barbecue and fresh salads - such a treat

We chose this for our last night in Villa. The service was great, food delicious and we were serenaded by a local band. The pork belly with tempura prawns was very tasty , followed by Gnocchi with lobster which was also an interesting combination.

Tippenyaki was excellent but a la carte was very disappointing. Staff were attentive and very friendly cart

Fantastic food! Expensive but well worth it! My favorite was the lobster gyozas! A must! We went there a couple of times. The food is fancy but the atmosphere is ambient and relaxing. Dont finish your wine? Take it with you outside and watch the band.

Entertaining night at the teppanyaki grill. Very happy chef showing his juggling skills, not quite the same as you might expect but a good fun night out with food that won't offend. Friendly staff and good service.

We decided to try Wild Ginger on one of the last nights we were in Port Vila, having heard a few good things about it. Our experience was mixed. We didn't book but getting a spot was no problem as there were only a few others there. Even so, bar service was very slow. Our entrees were fine: tasty, well... More
