I like the Lebanese Food and some of their desserts such as the chocolate cake and the rice pudding, but cleanliness is an issue, unfortunately

Don't expect the Ritz, but if you're looking for a decent place to go for a nice Lebanese style lunch, popular by expats and locals alike, with good food and all of that for a very decent price then this is the place to be. Apart from the usual mediterranean/Lebanese fare (falafel, shwarma, humus, tabouleh etc) they also have very... More

I've eaten here several times on various trips to Kinshasa, and it is among the best options for midrange dining in the city. Apart from the horrible setup of the place (which i wouldnt mind for the right food), every time i was there i actually got sick afterwords. The quality of their meat is questionable to say the least. Really would never go there again.

With a very small Muslim population and a small number of expatriates, it is not very easy to find halal food and especially non-alcohol serving restaurants. Yes sure Al'Dar is the only one with this confidence and doing a wonderful business. The Shwarma is the most popular among all.

It is a very large, cafeteria like restaurant, usually packed for lunch with both Congolese and expats. There is an enormous variety of Middle Eastern dishes. They were all fine, some good but nothing particularly exceptional. People don't come here for exceptional though. They come here for the speed of the service, the great prices and the variety of good... More
