This is a really really famous samgyetang(Korean chicken soup) house. Not cheap menus. But, everyone will be satisfied after visiting. Menus: Main menus are samgyetang. So, samgyetang is definitely must-try. Ours were served very quickly after having a table. Many of them must be ready...More

Housed in large traditional Korean house, this restaurant serves very good samgaetang. The food and the atmosphere are a must try for tourists and it is located near the palace.

Nice herbal soup in town. I tried the black chicken soup, it didn't have so much different than the original one. The soup broth was good and should mix it wih ginseng alcohol to add up alcohol taste on your soup.

Order the original ginseng chicken soup. Other varieties such as blank chicken ginseng soup are just gimmicks to me. As a side order the seafood pancake instead of the usual roasted chicken as the pancake turns out to be much better than the roasted chicken....More

The ginseng wine is nice especially drink in winter. Can keep you warm! We ordered one black chicken and a normal samgyetang. Reasonable price for a famous restaurant. They have ginseng wine for sell. Worth buying if you like.

We ordered one serving of black chicken with wild ginseng (29,000W) and 2 servings of white chicken ginseng (16,000W). Spent 61,000W for 3 bowls of ORDINARY chicken soup that has NO ginseng taste!! If u want real ginseng chicken, visit Jeonju Jungang Hoegwan instead. Jeonju...More

To be honest the ginseng chicken felt a lol overrated. Nonetheless the setup of the restaurant is wonderful. Dining in the old Korean house. Good experience. Love the kimchi too.

We discovered this traditional restaurant after we visited Gyeongbokgung palace. There was a line waiting outside around lunch time but it moved fast. The restaurant is big. The soup was yummy and there was sticky rice stuffed inside the chickens. We ordered two soups and...More

A normal chicken soup costs around 16,000 won, plus a pancake about 5,000 won (which is bigger than expectation). We was going to have desert in other place so 2 of us shared 1 soup + 1 pancake, but we're still full. Side... More
