After doing our shopping at Lotte Outlets Department Store, my wife and I decided to adjourn to the foodcourt on level 3 . The foodcourt was clean and well organized. For visitors , at the centre of the foodcourt there is a large electronic signboard displaying all the various types of food sold there, ranging from noodles to grilled fish.... More

Plenty of options here - there are several bakeries, sushi local Korean street food and if you can't decide there's the food court as well. The problem is deciding what to eat!

If you have limited time and wish to sample korean food in one place, this could be the place to go. Lotte has built up quite a reputation with tourists, so be prepared to see lots of people during meal times.

There's so many types of food choices here. If you're not in the mood to walk the streets of Seoul to look for a restaurant and you are ok with food court food then this is a good place to go. There is a large selection of food to chose from.

Really loved it. So much food. Amusing to see the different foods & drinks. Really interesting & fascinating. Salads, main dishes, cookies, piping Korean cake out of the oven, fresh vanilla icecream. Food heaven.

This is one of the best food court I went to. So much choices and some quite original. Great place to pass by, knowing that there is also a street market in the evening close to this place. You could find some great cakes, next to suite good japanese, korean, chinese restaurants. Some are more fast food than high level... More

Food court has lots of good choices, if you can find a table where you can enjoy your order. Went there after the lunch hour, and place was still packed. Had to wait around 20 minutes before I could eat my soup which was no longer hot by then. It has become a major tourist destination hence the crowd. Would... More

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
