We had dinner at this Pane Pasta, which we found through Trip Advisor, because we were already shopping at Myengdong, so it took as 5 minutes to reach. Everything tasted delicious. The salad, the sea food pasta and the pizza. I highly recommend it 😍

My friend and I decided to stop in here based on others reviews and we were happy we did. We ordered the Fettuccini in a green tea bread bowl, sounded a little odd, but it was outstanding! They had 2 person meal with choice of 1 salad, 1 pizza, 1 pasta and 2 drinks, the bill was only $34. The... More

I went to Pane Pasta with a friend and had a good meal. It definitely wasn't great, but very tasty, especially for the price. I got the signature pasta in a bread bowl, which I enjoyed. My friend got a salad. It was Italian food with a nod to Korean palates. The garlic bread was slightly sweet and they served... More

I passed by this restaurant in downtown Seoul and thought to give it a try as it looked very cosy and homy. The location is quite easy to find in very busy pedestrian street. The restaurant serves italian food with a korean touch, means they add more chilli and garlic to the dishes than in italy. The atmosphere is quite... More

We were sourcing for pasta as mainly due to my little one and happened we saw their label along the street and we decided to give it try. The waitresses in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful and the dishes are real good! My little one like it too.

A friend and I were hanging out in Myeongdong and were hungry, so we eventually settled on trying Pane Pasta as both of us were craving hearty Italian food. When I saw they have bread bowls (filled with pasta and other goodness) on the menu, I squealed. We both had tea and different pastas inside of bread bowls. It was... More

We had the set. Very reasonable price. Simply delicious. Environment is cosy. You can top up a little from the set if what you want is in the main menu. Friendly service.

Had a romantic dinner at Pane Pasta. Great environment and friendly staff, just right amount of privacy to chat and laugh in our own world. Must try tomato seafood soup - right amount of spicy and tangy. Pumpkin soup was very cheesy and had great texture. Mains were very good too. Carbonara is highly recommended. The prawns tomato spaghetti had... More

Chanced upon it as its signboard was small and standing by the roadside. After walking up the stairs, it opened into a small, warm, homely-decorated cosy 2-storey restaurant. Tables were quite near to one another but far enough for privacy and still spacious enough to walk between tables without banging into diners. Food was good, and owner/chef kindly accommodated our... Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
